can you have 2 Barclaycards?....is it possible?
Do they use there internal score to see if you can have a second or is it a whole new credit check?
I would like a second one to keep finances separate for expenses.
I Do have an old egg one that I was paying back, I guess I could ask for a new card on that, (I initially said I didn't want one when it was moved over.)

yes, that will now be a Barclaycard, so you'll already have this line of credit with them.0 -
It's remarkable how often this question arises. Maybe we need a FAQ...
Two Barclaycards
Can I have more than 1 Barclaycard?
How many Barclaycards
Can you have more than one Barclays Card
More than one Barclaycard
Can I have more than one barclaycard??Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

the thing is I never issued a new card when they changed hands , I said I didn't want it and would just pay it back then close it, I paid it back but never closed it, shows as old credit limit and 0 on my report, maybe I should check if they will re instate this first, or if it is already closed.
thanks for the replys5 kids..1 hubby...1 dog..3 rabbits and a goldfish...yep ours is a Madhouse

yes, you could just call them.
or, why not ask for a couple of cards with terms that suit you.
i have been using 2 Barclaycard in recent months: 1 with a great BT deal on it, and 1 with great cashback for spending. the latter is on the way out. i would decide what you want & try to get it, rather than accept the terms of the 'dormant' account.0 -
yes you can
I have two platinum cards, one with a balance, one empty
separate credit checks were carried out, but I'm sure they have a internal score system for qualifying full length off offers or shorter deals(33 months max- 24 the lower), I was lucky got maximum on both.
when I sign in both are on the same login screen so easy to manage.
I even tried to cancel the empty one tonight, and got offered a forever interest rate of 10.2% APR, happy days just lowered the limit to keep as a back up0 -
Yes you can.
Ask them for another card, saying you wish to keep certain expenses seperate.
They would usually give you a Mastercard (if you have a Visa), and would split the credit limit between the two.0
