Damn you. I bought some leopard print shoes in the Jan sales this year.

With our last property (the one we bought in 2005, not the one we've been in since 2007) we ended up doing 3 surveys with 2 companies, as the first company ended up coming back with 2 completely different surveys, one saying property was fine, one with a multitude of minor issues, and went with the one that was with the second when this had been confirmed.
Ok, that meant shelling out more money, but I like to be as informed as possible and know exactly what I'm looking at when spending a significant sum on a property.
I've spent a significant part of the last 2 weeks in Tbilisi (in 2 separate trips), first for something I'd volunteered for, and second for a property purchase (where it's traditional for the seller to do the survey, and I don't believe there are no issues at all with a pre-Soviet building) and am so happy to be home now!

Can't stand animal prints myself. Apart from on animals.
Hmm, I have a rather cosy short cashmere skirt in shades of grey that's a "leopard print". I like the grey print as it tends to not show things up when you spill stuff on your lap! :rotfl: But I also should own up to being a leopard print fan - my DDs always buy me something with leopard print for birthday or Xmas if they're stuck for an idea. :rotfl: Hence I have a lot of leopard print stuff! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

I keep jumping between the 2.
All valid points doozer. If instructed, would the surveyor do the gas/electric tests as well? Or would I need to get these done?
(seem to recall a chat with doozerboy re electrics. It's something he's very hot on taking care with, & the fact there is electricity in the summerhouse would also need checking).
No. How do you describe a surveyor? They might be useful to buyers because they don't know houses but they're useless to the trade. There are people that specialise far more in everything that a surveyor looks at, I guess a surveyors job is simply to signpost you.I know a lot of surveyors and they're all lovely, but...

The only animal print I own is on shoes. All pony skin, all in the sales. One zebra, one reverse dalmation and one tiny leopard print. The zebra shoes were still silly expensive but I love them, the other two were £5 each. Silly not to.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I've never paid anything over about £25 for a pair of shoes.
