Sale on in Asda today wrapping paper was 50p, everything else in the picture was 2p. All together it should have been £27 but I got it all for £1.10 :)

I have just bought a very festive chunky knitted hat online. It looks great quality in the photos and at under £2 in postage I cant go wrong! Found it through http://knittedhat.co.uk - I think I will have to wait until next year to wear it though! - I will post a photo when it arrives.

Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck Pillow Pets.

Just got back from a fantastic :j New Year 2 day break MSE style for family of 4:
Overnight stay at 5* Metropolitan Hotel, Park Lane, panoramic views over Hyde Park - £18 per room (Grabbit glitch)
Transport: All day hop-on/hop off Thames River boat cruise completely free :D thanks to Travelzoo offer and code via Grabbit
Meals - 2 course set lunch at Bank Restaurant (mostly paid for with 2 x Club-Individual cards which came pre-loaded with £20 each, thanks to Freebies board)
Train travel to London - almost free thanks to Redspottedhanky codes accumulated during the year (MSE newsletter).
Dinner at 5-Star Hilton Hotel (paid for using BuyaGift vouchers originally bought when a different offer was half price and combined with a code (via codes board), but almost due to expire so exchanged for 4 meals with wine at Hilton (added £10 cash)
Extra drinks/sandwiches etc picked up at Tesco Express using £40 moneycard sent to me after Tesco messed up their pre-Xmas clubcard promotion (I only emailed them about it after seeing a thread on the Food board).
Amazing 2 days in London, would not have been possible without MSE - Thank You :beer:

  • I bought a Bosch Tassimo machine for £39. And £36-worth of coffee pods for £16, with their twenty pound discount voucher. I'd never have been able to afford all that without the deals and grabbits which so many of you guys provide, you folks here and everyone over at HUKD.

    I'm very grateful *hugs*

Not sure if this counts as it's a post-Xmas bargain but I'll post it anyway!
My other half came home last night with an Android tablet from his work. I'd be considering getting one in the sales for my niece's birthday in August. I asked how much and he says "97p!" So yes I now have an Android tablet all sorted for her birthday for just 97p!
I'll have to check the brand etc when I get home but super chuffed :D
Feb wins: Angry Birds mug, £250 Perfume Shop bundle :D
