  • Prob a silly question but where do the £5 gift cards come from?
The Jus-Rol rewards scheme, as mentioned by tbw
    https://www.jusrolrewards.co.uk/
Join up (free), enter the code numbers off the pastry packaging (10 points per packet), to get cooking items or supermarket gift certificate; it's 70 points, or 7 packets, for a £5 certificate.
So if you've bought 8 packets and used the MOC, that cost you £3, but you'll get £5, so £2 in profit overall. (Thanks to those to explained this before:))

Yes, Casa Mia Millenium in Millenium Square and the original Casa Mia in Chapell Allerton...

Blimey, have all the Elite ended up in Leeds ... I hear Caliente Cafe on Otley Road is worth a visit ... Bibis in Leeds City Centre or Flying Pizza in Moortown.

    Xmas Saver!
Just back from a bit of a muggle shop, bits that are needed so no choice, however, I did find a couple of things whilst hitting my £40 for £5 off my Turkey.

Twix Mix and Mars Planets are RTC to 52p a bag.

I did notice (and not confirmed online) that Tesco are selling a Pandoro cake (didnt get close enough to see details) for just £2, which is a bargain. Google Pandoro Tree if you want to see what you can make with them. I have just bought loads of malteasers and cadbury wishes to decorate mine with.

Nicked from the Dark side, but the Lego Back to the Future Delorean (http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/The-DeLorean-time-machine-21103 ) is going through the till at just £15 instead of £35. Not many out there, but worth a little look for as for any fan of either lego or Back to the Future it is brilliant.

Going back to <ahem> around 1990, I worked as an assistant accountant and I used to quite like the tights sold in the sock shop :o

I was at work one day, sporting a new pair that had taken my eye (we had a quite formal dress code at that time but I was a bit naughty and used to get away with it so I used to wear a stretch mini skirt, thick patterned tights and DM type shoes ) and my boss said....ooh The Scream, I love that painting, where on earth did you get those tights, my wife would love a pair :)

Up until that point I had no idea who or what the scream was, so thank you sock shop and my old boss :T

    Blinkin Nora....the sock shop :D

I too had a penchant for patterned and coloured tights (I blame Madonna in desperately seeking Susan :rotfl::rotfl:) oh I had some cracking leg fashion courtesy of the sock shop.

talking of long gone shops.......Chelsea Girl :D
