Me Challenge: Bossy, bearing in mind my challenge, I'm wondering about how to report any progress. I've given myself until the end of the year to get everything shipshape, so should I give a weekly/monthly update as I'm trying (but not always succeeding) to get some money together each week to increase the coffers. I have a 2 hr weekly job but am paid in cash and the majority usually gets spent on food but sometimes I manage to save a little. My main income is my pension which is paid at the end of the month. In addition there ar.e items which I hope to sell on that well-known site f-lake. (Hope all that makes sense!)

    "See" you all later.

    Rebecca
 sorry for the late reply, I'm doing stars weekly so just let us know if you've made progress, however small!
    Morning everyone
Thanks for the lists ladies :]

DH is still poorly, he's had the biopsy done and waiting for results now [always waiting] - its all a bit pants here but needs must and the bathroom is decidedly the worse for wear so in I go :]
Lovely to "see" you! Hope you get some good news soon, the waiting is awful X
    I'm in again!
Had baby dragon 4 weeks ago tomorrow by c-section so ive been out of action, and am not fixed yet but getting there, so ive decided to start slowly!
    Many congratulations!

Sorry for multiple posts am trying to catch up! Night all X

Have finally got the last load into the TD. After my last post I have picked DH up from work, dropped some bonfire night tickets into my Uncle's garage to (hopefully) sell, gone and bought new sheets and pillowcases from Dunelm, come home and cooked tea (eaten at the table :D), cleared kitchen, stacked DW, DH has painted DS's door and I have done the first coat of paint on the banisters. We're getting there with the challenge!
Am now achey and tired but my tooth's better :D.

    Hi all

HJ thinking of you and your DH - Bossy is right, the waiting is the worst
    LSD congratulations
Pigpen thank you for the gummy picture - she is gorgeous

I'm another one who needs a clear, clean house. I'm able to cope better with things when the house is tidy. The dehoarding thread did wonders for my mental health and my attitude towards 'things'.

    If it's gone it's done

Monday - Bathroom, shower room, toilet
    15 minutes...

    wash the floors
    Empty any upstairs bins
    30 minutes to spare ...
    Got an hour....
    Clean the shower cubicle

    Extras
    Catch up on any handwashing
    Deal with any paperwork

Still not done my needle book *rolls eyes* but I went to and see my Grandad who is still in hospital. He thinks he's coming home tomorrow but he isn't :( hopefully by the end of the week he will be ready to come home.

    Morning all

    Thanks ladies xx

Todays plan is to get downstairs sorted - we have a busy day and DH has been up ALL night so no idea how much longer he'll go before collapsing in bed, I need to chuck our minging sofas out into the back garden as yesterday I won on eb@y a gorgeous 3 piece suite, lovely colour and fantastic condition, well made and so on and got it for £23, I was jumping around the room when I won it [had offered £50 at the start of the auction but got refused so was double happy lol] anyway, old one needs to go out, room needs to be tidied, and then from 3.30 onwards its all systems go - DS has a friend round, sofa being delivered, pick up DD from dance class, do tea, blah blah blah lol

I'm a happy soul today [just wish DH would sleep]

    See you all later xx

    Morning everyone :hello:

    Tuesday - Stairs/landing/Airing cupboard/kids room
    15 minutes....
[STRIKE]Get everything out of airing cupboard, sort out, put back what you actually need, recycle/rehome as need be.[/STRIKE] it's still tidy from the last time I did this  I do need to empty the bottom shelf and vacuum the floor though.
    Test smoke alarms
    30 minutes to spare....
    Hoover floors
Strip bed/s and wash any bedding -- girls' room for me
    Got an hour....
    Dust shelves
Check kids/ OH’s / Your wellington boots fit and are water tight no splits, replace now before there is a shortage if needed -- I haven't owned a pair of wellies since I was about 6! Time to remedy that.
    Clean a window or two

    Extras
[STRIKE]Pair up all odd socks, declutter the rest to recycling/nursery[/STRIKE]
Wipe any marks off the walls - magic sponges are excellent
Spot clean any rugs -- no rugs but there are a [STRIKE]ton of [/STRIKE] few marks on the LR carpet so I'll have a go at those instead.
    Ald! run
    Phone tax credits :'(

I love a bargain -- well done, helen jelly!
