I work that out as £187.5p O's (excluding time to go)
Mine is ££188.22 O's with 11 days to go. (22nd).
    Friday - 4.08 O's.
    Saturday - 4.76 O's
    Today - 5.44 O's Hawaii's are back.... coffee.gif

    Hi,
I've just dipped back into his forum after a long absence.
I'm much delighted with the idea of an 'O' as a tool of comparison, and even more taken with the notion of a Hawaii (from rough readings, I had 17 of these in the last 31 days). It seems a neat way of comparing the performance of different sized/located systems.
However, the quarterly(?) monetary figure is less trustworthy as a comparator, since there isn't a standard quarter as far as I can see. Please tell me if I'm wrong...
....and the other half across the desk, who is NOT retired, says that some people just don't have enough to do....
    Best,

Hi Old Grouser, You are right with regard to there not being a standard 1/4; but I had gleened from my life "living in a dust bin" that Legoman had a similar 1/4 end to mine, and was on the same FIT rate; hence the comparison. As to 'the other half across the desk'; I am suprised that she/he (to be politically correct (not in any order)) has time to glance at postings by a bunch of an Anorak wearing peoples demonstrates that "Too much time on Hands" prevails ..... smiley-laughing021.gif Thanks for your reply post....:D

Well, the weather predicters got it wrong again and i bagged a nice 4.5 O's yesterday.

Here's my own forecast for my area today:-

There should a chance of some sunny spells around but with the possibility of a few showers or longer spells of rain although some parts may stay dry. Winds will be variable depending on how many people had a curry last night.

For Martyn,Oscar and any one else, for your forecast...please see above....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Best of luck, hopefully by Friday you'll be able to play along with us, unless of course you can find something better to do with your time! ;)

Generation - haven't posted for a while, so quick summary, slightly above targets each day (was 18kWh, now about 16kWh), so month is ahead but weather looks a little more broken in the week ahead.

Sun is almost hitting the top of my 'how did it get that big, that fast' Silver Birch approx 45ft tall, 16in diameter trunk base, but it was only about 10ft tall and 3in diameter when we moved in 15 years ago. Plan was to cut it down this week as it blocks the view of our very old Magnolia. All was ready with neighbours triple ladder on loan, and I go and do my ribs in, perfect! :(

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

    Today looks a cracker :)

After being 150 kWh down on forecast for the year at the end of June, now almost back on track!

    Mart.

Can you run that ladder up to Sheffield when you've done with it, I'm sure shafeeq wouldn't mind borrowing it as well :D

    Todays weather if anyone's interested:-
