I believe the Deuce stops more or less outside, though it's quite a walk from mid-strip and isn't in the most glamorous of neighbourhoods! We were worried about getting back, but there were a couple of cabs waiting in the parking lot. We got a cab across to the North outlet mall, it's not far at all... Then back to the strip from there.

Can anyone tell me if the deluxe suites at Vdara can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children? I was looking to book but only comes up with the option of king bed and I wasn't going to include the kids on the booking!

We stayed in both versions of the deluxe suite last/this week. I actually think you'd be more cramped in the one that's divided into a bedroom and living area. The 'one big room' layout seemed a lot more spacious - it was wider and you haven't got the dividing wall taking up space. With that layout there's also more room to shift the coffee tables out of the way so you can pull out the sofa bed.

maybe try copying and pasting it to Word or something and saving it...logging out and log back in and copy and paste it back?
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I will try again to post my trip report- although I giggled at ratkarth/ vanI will try again to post my trip report- although I giggled at ratkarth/ vanilla 8 reports coz they are nearly the same as mine- great minds and all that!!!Thursday-Still worried about my seat selection in the bubble we checked in and at the gate boarded immediately after first class but before PE who were seated downstairs.Would defo recommend these seats,it was so quiet with approx 400 people downstairs and just about 40 upstairs.Service was excellent,IFE was brilliant and I loved the storage boxes under the window, which meant I could rummage in my bag without getting up and disturbing anyone.Best of all we were the first to leave the plane which meant first at customs, straight through there only to wait 50 mins for luggage.Jumped a taxi straight to Mirage and checked in our rooms all before 5 pm.
OH and son went watching Big Elvis at Harrahs which OH does every time we go,whilst I chilled. Then we called in at the Wynn,Parasols down bar by the lake for drinks.Whenever we go to LV it is customary for us to go to the Outback Steakhouse above Casino Royal for a large jug of blackberry sangria,a bloomong onion, and a fillet steak to die for!By now falling asleep at table so head back for a quick little flutter at the lots and then bed.
Friday-Awake early,up and out tothe Outlet Mall ( north) .Bought lots of R Lauren t shirts, childrens wear, converse and lots of Disney stuff.
Get the bus to Stratosphere as OH bought cheap unlimited rides from travelzoo.I have done these rides before and I was ok but I have to say it was so windy that the rides were swinging out more than ever and at one point I actually feared for my life! waste of time buying unlimited as there was not a cat in hells chance I was doing them more than once( on my own aswell!!)
Needed a large stiff drink after this sowalked to Peppermill lounge and sat with a few cocktails in the really cheesey cocktail louge which I do love.Headed back to Mirage for well earned nap.
late evening went back to Downtown so son could experience the whole thing.Went to HeartAttack Grill which is so funny, you wear a hospital gown and are served by sexy nurses, son loved it.He wanted to try loose slots,I did laugh when he won $30 in 5 cent coins and thought he had to carry it back.I do think the zipwire is a goid thing but since we were there in Oct it seems to have spread right up Freemont St,and I personally thought it was a hindrance blocking the road.Back on the bus for some more drinks and bets at Mirage.
Saturday-Flamingo for breakfast buffet, this is OH favourite buffet, simply because of the setting with the fish and flamingos.Next explored Ceasers and Belllagio, ending up at Forum shops where we went for our luch at the Cheesecake Factory.Late evening went to BLT in Mirage as I love their burgers well worth a visit.More drinks and gambling( lots of small wins)
Sunday- Bellagio for breakfast buffet.Really good.quality rather than quantity buffet.Walked to Miracle Mile shops and then used myvegas reward at Minus5 at Monte Carlo. It was an experience,we have previously done Manadlay Bay one which was bigger and better, but for free and with coupons for free shots was good.Walked to Fashion Show Mall for a mooch, then back to Rhumbar ( our fav bar)After a nap used myvegas reward for cravings buffet whilstOH and son used a travelzoo offer for 2 people and unlimited drinks forv$ 39.It was quite good, not a huge choice but still better than some of the others we have done.
Monday .- After a breakfast at Dennys the boys head to the Gunstore for boys games whilst I go and do what ladies do best- shop- again at FSM.Bought lots of things, had lots of bags but still couldnt resist the call of Walgreens( I love to buy lots of medicines, creams, lotions and potions from here!)head back to Mirage just as boys arrive,so head to rhumbar for drinkies!!Early evening go back to BLT as we are going to Love for late show.We got the tickets free with our booking and have seen all other Cirque shows but this one.Being not a fan of the Beatles it has never appealed to me but I have to say I really loved it,not as much as my favourite Ka though.
Tuesday- Head back to Outlet mall as there is always different things when you go again.Bought lots more, son even spent his money on tons of clothes!!We got the bus but I stayed on and the boys got off at Stratosphere to go to Pawn Stars.
Later on head up tonNYNY to Nine Fine Irishmen for dinner and drinks,do MGM Grand then head back.Won $400 on roulette so me and.son head to Apple store were ai bought an Ipad mini with my winnings, saving £50 if I had bought it at home!
Wednesday - We start the mammoth food 24 hours with our Buffet of Buffet passes with breakfast at Paris.Son and OH head up to L V sign whilst I wait in Manadaly Bay Hotel playing the slots, another win of $ 100 on a random machine I just sat down at to waste some time!Walked through Luxor and Excalibur and head back to Flamingo for coffee and cake.Son and me went to Walgreens for chocolate and sweets to bring home($100!)Head back to Mirage again for drinkies(my poor liver !!)Late evening head to PH Spicemarket Buffet but all of us completely overfaced and ate very little.Back to hotel to do the packing.
Thursday-Last day.Flamingo for breakfast, last look around there, and then head for the airport for our long journey home,
Got home and rebooked 115 days till we go back, got to do some serious playing on myvegas for some more rewards !!
I agree with whoever wrote on here that they had never seen as many children there,we too couldnt get over just how many there were not just on the strip but in all the hotels.
Sorry if my spelling and grammar is terrible but i am not even going to reread this before I post it as I havent the energy to redo again !!!Energy levels are at an all time low,I am generally jet lagged for about 2 months when I come back.I will just be feeling better when its time to go again( hope my liver is in better shape by then too!!!!!)illa 8 reports coz they are nearly the same as mine- great minds and all that!!!Thursday-Still worried about my seat selection in the bubble we checked in and at the gate boarded immediately after first class but before PE who were seated downstairs.Would defo recommend these seats,it was so quiet with approx 400 people downstairs and just about 40 upstairs.Service was excellent,IFE was brilliant and I loved the storage boxes under the window, which meant I could rummage in my bag without getting up and disturbing anyone.Best of all we were the first to leave the plane which meant first at customs, straight through there only to wait 50 mins for luggage.Jumped a taxi straight to Mirage and checked in our rooms all before 5 pm.
