  • hehe thanks! unfortunately not being able to keep track of spending on holiday means a lot of my money has disappeared this month :(

However, click here to see 6 pics from hol :D
I bottle-fed, walked and played with 5month old tigers, played with 1month old tigers, washed and fed and walked the big tiger, and watched 10 of them play around in a pool. It's a place called the Tiger Temple near Bangkok. It was amazing :) I wasn't sure if they would be drugged, but I'm certain they weren't. It's a monks temple, but they have a conservation area around their temple which also has lots of wildlife living there.

Fab photos psychobabble - love the tiger and elephant shots. I'd especially like to ride the elephant as I love elephants!!

Thank you v much for the show of solidarity - I am welling up again at your kind words. Hv no family in this country, so it means a lot to me. I am blubbing at everything these days, whereas I am normally stiff upper lip, workaholic kinda girl.
Fritter, I may have to insist that u fly out here to deliver this one. There is nowt to beat a UK midwife. My only delivery out here was ghastly - v v medicalised - so much so that I am requesting to have my first C-section for this one...
Don't care what it is - already hv 4 pinks and 1 blue. I hv had a few losses in between, so I just can't wait to see the heartbeat at the first scan.
Forgot to say congrats to Jemma on imminent Auntie-dom...what wonderful news! (Can only read a few lines at a time b4 I feel nausea rising up AGAIN) xxx

Congratulations Canucksfan :j!!. I hope you manage to end your relationship with the porcelain goddess soon.

  • Thanks for the epic post Jemma.
One leaky pipe is fixed and the plumber is booking me in to sort out the other one soon ;).
The fence isn't joint responsibility unfortunately - on our house deeds, we are responsible for the one on the right of our garden (which is the one which needs mending) and other neighbours are responsible for the rest.

Fallenwiccan – sorry but I’ve absolutely no idea on bills! Nice one with the free lunch! How did the presentation go?

I'll figure something out on the bills, very tempted to ring them up and ask for the DD to be reduced at least.
I think the presentation went well, everyone who went who has seen me commented it was really interesting.
I even remembered to make my lunch for today last night too, getting the hand of this NSD now :rotfl:

Jakes-mum – I wholeheartedly concur that if you do competitions then get another email account as mine is now clogged with junk and seemingly impossible to stop it!!!! P.s. if I’m to accept your offer of your OH then could you please confirm that returns are free....?! :rotfl: how are you feeling hun? I hope the Haagendaz cheered you up whilst you were feeling rubbish x I’m seriously using some of these “tips” on my niece/nephew when they arrive as it will be hilarious!

Ahh gotta love that spam, I love the multi delete function :D. Now in the words of my MIL, Hes sold as seen! any annoying or gross habits that may appear after he arrives were obviously never there before I packaged him up :D
Im still very sniffly, im annoying myself now, but yes the Haagendaz did make me feel better, best thing is that my lot are so well trained they dont even contemplate asking for some as 'mummy doesnt share icecream' :rotfl:.
I have to admit I love annoying my sister through her kids :rotfl:, I feel it is payback for when we were little as I am the youngest, she had 18 years of agravating and bullying me all in the name of being the 'oldest', now I get the rest of her life to do the same thing under the guise of being the 'youngest' so I dont know any better :rotfl::rotfl:. All the kids love getting parcels through the post with their name on, well worth the £3.50 postage :D. Oooo what could I send to them next . . wonder if I could get some cheap building toys with lots of tiny bits to lose in the carpet

Jemma - no baby news yet I'm afraid. I've got midwife this afternoon so hopefully she'll book me in to be induced as I'm now a week over due! I'm hoping something happens soon as I'm soooo uncomfortable all the time! Plus that for the last week I've been severely comfort eating as I'm so fed up :(

Ahhh choclover, just think no matter what that baby has to arrive in the next week whether it wants to or not, dont think they let you go past 2 weeks anymore do they  Do what I did, tell your DH he put it in there so he golly well better come up with an idea to get it out again, it will entertain you just watching him try to come up with something :T:T

Just reduced my Gas DD from £38 a month to £25. :) Looking on the system we're only using £13 a month anyway so we'll still build up credit. That £13 can pay our TV license or go towards the home care insurance I just organised. Guess I'm just doing Kerri's weekly task a week or two late ;)

Choclover from recent experience (November) they won't let you go 2 weeks over. Everyone else look away as I may share TMI. they gave me a sweep at 7 days over then at 9 days then again at 11 days over (DS was def comfy in there!!!!) they then tried inducing me on day 12 and DS was born the following day so 13 days over

Hope yours is less comfy in there than DS was ;)

Hmm I appear to have disappeared for a few days, sorry! I will catch up when work calms down.

    This weeks task; paper shuffle

Sort out all that dodgy paperwork that's been collecting in piles, shoved into cupboards. Sort it, shred it, bin it, file it away :)

Nice and easy. I bet Jakes-Mum already does this one though.....but I bet she can't find a reason why she can't partake this week :p
