I was a good girl last night, sat and listed 10 items on ebay :D Am thinking about spending the afternoon going through the cupboard under the stairs for more hidden treasures ;) I would also have a look in the loft but after the last trip up there I think DH would actually do me in if by some miracle I didnt finish meself off trying to get up there

Oh I dont miss the late night pick ups fallen wiccan  DH used to work 3 shift pattern and when he was on 2 - 10pm I would have to pick him up (pre kids and house) so I could bomb round in his car while he was working :rotfl:

Ooooo I can now tell you all :j :j He has started a new temporary job today :D I didnt dare say anything before (known for a week) as I was worried i'd jinx it :o. From what I understand, its a 9 month contract but broken down into 3 x 3 month ones (I assume to make it easier on the company should the work drop and to keep peoples work standards up) but even if its only 3 months, thats another 3 months of not worrying about the mortgage money :D

Thanks Jakes-Mum, This is so I can use his car in future to go to work (only 5 minutes drive and an asda between our flat and my work so I can do shopping) as he works in the city centre and they have no car parking he's using the metro. I've told him if he wants the car on his days off mid week he can drop me at work and take it to do whatever he wants. So we'll phone and sort the insurance changes out on Wednesday after we're moved.

TV license is sorted, will post driving license on Wednesday to get that changed. I'll do bank accounts etc next week when internet is working.

Stomach is doing back flips right now, not been this nervous since Uni results day.

12 days till pay day!!! Yay!

The last time I got paid was 21st December....this is the equiv of a 5 week month for me. Things are getting desperate now!

I have been cheering myself up by deciding which debts I shall pay off. I have decided the Barclay Card at 26% apr is the first that will bite the dust!

    :( Trying hard...failing miserably :(

Just checked my accounts and they're looking much better than 6 months ago, OH paid me back the £200 I lent him, and I keep looking at fabric online. So to take away temptation I'm going to pay £50 to Vanqu1s :) The card is cut up so I can't use it. That'll leave me with about £80 to last until a week on Friday, but I should get £50 in expenses back before then. I will manage to stick to spending no more than £50 a week honest!

Oh and whilst I'm here we may as well have a mini challenge:

This weeks Mini challenge: Round It Up
Whenever you buy anything this week, round up the total to the nearest £ and put the change towards a debt. So for example you buy £18.79 worth of groceries, the 21p goes towards a debt somewhere. If your creditors only allow whole numbers, then save it up in a pot, or virtual pot, and at the end of the week put it towards a debt :)

Thanks for the mini-challenge Kerri - I'm gonna put mine into a pot. I did quite well on last week's as I go out for a walk every morning (anyway) and went to dry ski slope for 2 hours at the weekend so was outdoors quite a bit :).

Don't you just love it when all your friends tag themselves at a curry house tonight and you haven't been invited?

I might be off sick and skint but I'd still appreciate being asked! :( Don't worry though, I only looked after them when one of them had an unwanted pregnancy, and one of them fell out with her boyfriend every 2 days and needed comforting.

Sorry, just really upset that once again they haven't bothered inviting me, and they can't say it's last minute cos there is 8 of them!

*big hugs to the orange one* anytime you fancy a cuzza you can give me a shout if you like :) (not sure how far you are from North London, but I regularly go to Ipswich, and Sevenoaks for business).

I've tried to thread my overlocking machine this evening 3 times, now I'm giving up!

Going to thread up the sewing machine instead and make my sister a nappy roll from the CK fabric I bought all those months ago :D
