if you think you have to get a group of engineers looking at why the fault has happened and then send a report..
show me where you have seen this ..give me a link..silly me

Proving goods are faulty
If you bought the item within the last six months, it’s the trader’s responsibility to prove the item wasn’t faulty when you bought it.
If you bought your item over six months ago, you may have to prove the fault was not caused by accidental damage or wear and tear. You can do this by getting a second opinion from an independent expert (see link below).

You can do this(means you dont have to, but could do) by getting a second opinion from an independent expert
the product still looks brand new so..visual proof would prove the fault was not caused by wear and tear.
as for accidental damage.. can be compared with same, brand new product in question.
You can't even quote it right.if you think you have to get a group of engineers looking at why the fault has happened and then send a report..

It says you MAY need to get a report and given the retailer has refused to entertain your request this, by default means you WILL need to get a report for them to act.
I actually suspect its your attitude thats got you to this point with T-Mobile, especially if you have acted to them the way you have acted to us.0 -

The sad thing is, if you prove the fault was inherent any legitimate claim you have is worth pennies (as a previous poster has pointed out)
After reading some of your posts on this thread, and in the shoes of a retailer it would make more sense to pay you to !!!! off and leave me alone than listen to some of your insane ramblings.
In fact I'd do it out of my own pocket if it mean't the paying you off was cheaper than the consequential loss of debating this with yourself and my sanity.
Sadly you'd probably see this as a victory in you deluded world. Some would argue that there is some method to your madness, but I don't think you've thought that far ahead.
its not about the money..
I was misled
i bought a hotpoint washer and the drum packed in after 2 years...
that shop said the same ..out of warranty to cut a long story short, The shop sent a hotpoint engineer to my house and replaced the drum free of charge.
the object of this thread was to help and asist people who have bought faulty goods..out of warranty no matter how much it cost, from 10 pound
to 200 pound
and use theThe Sale of Goods Act 1979 is perhaps the most useful and relevant to the problems many consumers face when they make purchases on the High Street, online or by mail order. It is worth knowing about this piece of legislation, in terms of what rights you have and how you can resolve the situation, because not all shops can be relied on to act in an honourable or lawful way.
sorry got to go
