went into tesco h!ndl3y yesterday and they had hundreds of the 1p Lindt eggs....all with stickers over the barcodes taking them back to full price :(. It broke my little heart! :)

If you know the old barcode you could always put a few through on the self service.

Not saying it is right or honest but it should go through.

I found 2 strips of the 1p Andrea toilet paper, handy to keep in my handbag.

I found these too but scanned at 25p for me

I'm sorry but this wouldn't work either. The stickered barcodes were the ones going through at 1p, but this was a glitch, not a reduction.
They fixed the glitch after a couple of days, so all lindt eggs, regardless of barcodes or store are now scanning at the correct price. The same applies to the mini egg glitch, which has also now been fixed :)

The mini egg glitch was stores digging out the stock from last year. They should have been cleared out when they were reduced to 1p after last Easter but some stores kept them to sell this year presuming the price would reset, but as there was a difference in packaging the barcode changed and therefore the old price was not reset by Head Office. Each store had to manually change the price if they were effected.

Hi , I confused now. lol
When the Lindt eggs glitch was on. The eggs in my store (which had the stickers over the bar code) were scanning at 50p. After the "glitch " was fixed they still scanned at 50p.
Just been shopping threw a bag in trolley knowing they are 50p.
Checked receipt in car they are now scanning at 1p!!!!. Went back and bought 10 more bags.
Is my store wayyy behind or what lol.
    Still the stickered variety.
Might be worth still trying for these eggs.
    :D:j;)

Mmmm interesting  there are 2 different stickered barcodes. From memory it was the one ending 34 that was glitching last time, but this was definately fixed at the time.
What were the last few digits of the barcode for the ones you got today at 1p?

Ive just got one and the bar code is 5012454068043. This is on the sticker over the original barcode.
    Hope this helps someone.;)
