I know that this has been probably asked many times here, but...
After June, where will the best place be for our cash?
I'm a basic rate tax payer, and the money is not needed. - 3 vantages.
Was thinking the ns&i, but any 1 yr fixes out there worth it, before rates lowered again?
Thanks.

Nationwide mysave online maybe? One withdrawal allowed which could be all of it if a better account appears. If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0

Might be worth considering this, as there appears to be no defined time limit on the rate guarantee - http://www.securetrustbank.com/savings-accounts/183-day-notice-tracker-accountthats 3.05% with bonus, but net that is 2.41%.
which is why the vantage was good, as net it is 3.2%0 -
There's always Whiteaway Laidlaw at 3.35% for 6 months fixed rate bond.0

I've stuck £15k in the NS&I index linked issue, while it's still available.0

Have 14K to move so NSI index linked for me now - although have already opened a Hallifax Reward saver @ 3% if you have a current account, in anticipation.0

£15K in NS&I also here.0

...into ns&i index linked account0

and me too. Leave it in for a year and then reconsider the options.0

Saw an interesting article in Saturday's Times - - Lloyds are offering some Vantage customers what the Times call a "secret" instant access savings account paying 3%.
After 23 mins on the phone, referring to the Times article several times, I now got myself one of these "secret" accounts. It is true instant access, no notice period at all, 3% for one year, up to 50K. Will revert to "EasySaver" (currently 1.6%) at the end of the 12 months.
I will leave 5K in my Vantage accounts, and probably make full use of the 'secret' account for the next year.
Have scanned the Times article and put it on the web - bit messy since I had to scan it in 2 parts
Part 1
Part 2
I had to remind the Lloyds person I spoke to that the Times article quotes a Lloyds spokesman saying "Any Vantage customer who requests the Incentive Saver product through our telephone service is eligible for the product".
I called 0845 602 2406 - you get the normal key this, key that spiel but eventually can speak to a real person.0
