It must be so nice to be able to shop where you like regardless of cost or budget. Thank you sooo much for highlighting that you are so much better off than the rest of us and rubbing our noses in the fact.

Some people on here can't afford the basics of life and struggle to pay bills and rent . My mother often went without food herself to ensure we ate a decent meal.

Thank you for showing us how the other half live it is so educational to be shown how poor and worthless we are just for trying that little bit extra to make our money stretch.

That's ok.. I'm sure you can spare a thought for those farmers which will go out of business as you all rack up your freezers with frozen meat as tescos squeeze them some more to cope with the sudden loss in profits because im sure they wont absorb the sudden extra costs.

my post isnt about anyone being wealthy or poor, its about having some sort of morales and realising that some people here are effectively theiving, bad company or not it shouldnt be resorted to this to highlight a point to them because i doubt they would absorb the cost which then just puts more pressure on other businesses which cant afford to pay their bills or their labour costs.

and i'm not the other half, i never said i was? its about convinience not about what class i am.. the travel costs will be much higher for me to go to asda than tescos. i have money set aside each week for groceries and i budget and intend to spend the same week by week, but i wont suddenly change my whole diet just because it might be free!

& please dont keep saying tescos is more expensive.. me inputting my basic shop without checking the prices came back as tescos being cheaper than asda. if you want a cheap shop then there are places out there which are a lot cheaper than these two!
Who would say I couldn't make you mine? You were mine since th' beginning of time. Who would say we were far apart? You ever reside in the core of my heart?

I used my first ever voucher today at the self service (£15) and it wouldn't go through without the SA so she came over and couldn't get the till to type in the amount so she went to another till and recalled my shopping through somehow.... So now my reciept says "Recalled Transaction". I am worried it will fail the price check for some reason now, has this happened to anyone else?

Can i submit two receipts in one day or do i need to use another email address?

I have used a recalled transaction one before, they work fine.

I submitted a recalled transaction receipt and it was fine. Apart from the fact Tescos was cheaper on it lol.
Please God, help me stop spending!

I got shampoo, conditioner, deoderant, body lotion, washing powder and fabric conditioner.
None of these items are unhealthy.
No it's not wrong doing what we are doing.
Tesco are wrong as their prices obviously aren't cheaper as they claim to be.
    Smile....:)

I guess they would be unhealty...if you ate them :D

FRUIT SHOOT MY-5ORANGE &P/APPLE 4 X 200ML are (I think) £1.73 in Tesco and on offer at Asda @ 2 for £2. Am I right in thinking that if I buy 2 from Tesco my DTD would be £2.92, meaning I've effectively paid 54p for them?
  • I have never spent so long in my life making up shopping lists!! I feel like i've spent all day listing different combinations and calculating cost versus return, may be we should all train as accountants after this!
Are they still accepting vouchers which show your return was greater than your spend, I remember reading somewhere in the previous thread someone who was told they wouldn't accept vouchers which were for more than the original receipt? Has anyone had an issue with this?

It's Tesco. If you are going to stick up for them at least get their name right.
