Been awake since 5:30!! Just can't get back to sleep so I've got up to watch tv. Not a great start to a Sunday.

Not much to report with me so im keeping quiet. I'm still lurking and will post when i can.

very late birth announcement...
Samuel David was born on 26 Jan at 11.56am weighing 9lb 2oz!

ended up with another emergency c-section - although not as traumatic as last time...will post birth story once i get a spare ten mins...so with a 20 month old as well that will be never!

Sammy - I wouldn't have been able to walk round at your stage, knackered me out and I am a month behind!

I kept getting my annoying pain at top of my bump last night so didn't sleep that well either grr.

Calcium
32wks onwards: 1000mg per day
At onset of Labour: 1000mg

Evening Primrose Oil (EPO)
34-37wks: 1-2 500mg capsule
38-40wks: 34 500mg capsule
Insert 1 capsule each night during week 38

Raspberry Leaf Tea (RLT)
32-34wks: 1 cup (or 1 tablet) per day
34-36wks: 2 cups (or 2 tablets) per day
36-38wks: 3 cups (or 3 tablets) per day
38-40wks: 4 cups (or 4 tablets) per day

Arnica Tablets
3 days before: 2 30c tablets 3 times a day
Onset of Labour: 2 30c tablets every 2 hours (upto 6 doses)
After Labour (upto 5 days after): 2 30c tablets 3 times a day

I think I've had that "bloody show" thing.....
Then I was fulfilling my need for googling information and read this on babycentre uk:

In early labour, also called the latent phase you may feel the following:

Persistent lower back or abdominal pain, often accompanied by a crampy premenstrual feeling.

A bloody show (a brownish or blood-tinged mucus discharge). If you pass the mucus plug that blocks the cervix, labour could be imminent or it could be several days away. It's a sign that things are moving along.

Painful contractions that occur at regular and increasingly shorter intervals and become longer and stronger in intensity.

Broken waters, but you're in labour only if it's accompanied by contractions that are dilating your cervix.

and this:
Can I tell if labour is about to happen soon?
Maybe. Signs of the approach of labour include:
Lightening (when the baby's head begins to drop into position in your pelvis). You may notice that you can breathe more deeply and eat more, but you'll also need to wee more frequently.

Your vaginal discharge becomes heavier and more mucous.

You'll have more frequent and noticeably more intense Braxton Hicks contractions.

You may have loose bowels.

Check to 5 of those :eek:

Ea - didn't realise you can have the raspberry leaf tea from 32 weeks, i was going to start from 34. Where can you buy it from?
