    Morning All

Has anyone received any money from either Bare or Helion for work completed in October - I'm with HSBC and it doesn't normally take this long for the money to hit my account.

Nothing received yet, but I had an email from Helion today telling me the money has left their account and should arrive in mine within 5 days.

I emailed last week and was told this would be invoiced at the end of this month. Pretty slow if you ask me since it's already been one month since the job!
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

In theory  4 weeks after they have received your invoice.
However they regularly miss this "deadline" and take 6-8 weeks to pay and only after you have hassled them.

Give Caroline an email asking where your pay is if 4 weeks have passed.

I know you said you do these all the time, so you are obviously well known to the cinema staff, but in the first instance that the projectionist gave you the names of ads and trailers, did you ask or did they just volunteer the info to you??

Fab tip about the counting as well. :D

Do you find it best to sit at the back so it's easier to count??
I'd perched myself right at the front for the First Tracking ones last week so I had a bit more light from the screen so I could see what I was writing properly.

Nope these lil slip of paper that have the ads and trailers are avail to all staff I just asked for one... When i met the manager I saidum do you have something that has the trailers etc on it. -- he handed me the paper (it even has times on it!! :) )

I sometimes sit in the projection room.. pending on the cinema independants i can get away with it... and some big ones.

I sit wherever the door is.. so eitehr first or back row. One independant i do gets me a drink and popcorn and lets me stay if i want to! i love these jobs they are quite the perk!

I've just been paid for a job done in early October. The cheque is dated 11 November though so I'm not sure where its been since then!

and today I'm wondering who the heck has a cheque book nowadays ?

Another one who sends cheques to school as my boys are good at losing money. When we had a milkman, I used to pay by cheque if I didn't have enough cash in my purse.

Managed to get out and get all my calls done that needed to be done this week. Main roads were ok, but the side roads and car parks are slippy. It kept snowing too, so I kept getting wet and cold.

Popped out just now to do an audit and the roads are starting to freeze again. Had a little slide down a bank but thankfully no harm done.
Here I go again on my own....
