I wish I knew people who would like HM soup as pressies. My last batch turned out really Christmassy looking - it was bright red! It was my usual recipe of a load of carrots, a bit of celery but I chucked a chopped up beetroot in and it turned it a glorious red colour.
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)

Just popped in for a quick read and NualaBuala you've given me an idea. I have a nice holly leaf shaped biscuit (well actually it was supposed to be for playdough :D) cutter and I've just realised that I could make pesto-coated holly leaf shaped toasts to float on my HM tomato soup this Christmas.

I'm about 10 pages behind as usual..
re the toasts I've got some alphabet cutters and did soups with the boys names in for them.Kept them occupied while it cooled down enough to eat!
They were only cheap about £3 off ebay and I use them all the time. They are great for adding chocolate letters onto birthday cakes, just melt choc and spread onto greaseproof and cut when almost set again.

My mum phoned last night to tell me she'd been to the new lakeland store in Epsom and has banned me from going lol..sounds great tho..on 2 floors *slips shoes on*..
