What you have done is basically lumped the lib dems and labour together and counted them as one, to somehow make the point that more people voted for these two parties together.
Labour are not the lib dems, and lib dems are not labour. Therefore you cannot count them as "one" just because you don't like the other party, and want to make a point that because you count them as one, actually, less people voted tory.
no they are not one. and i'm sure lots of tories support an immigration amnesty, scrapping trident, 10k tax free rate, a promise not to take military action against iran, proportional representation, a move to a federal europe.
where do you as a conservative stand on these policies?
i voted labour but i support all the above policies as do many other labour voters. in fact i prefer much of the lib dem manifesto to the labour manifesto. the only sticking point would be a refusal to do deals with the tories. and that is why the lib dems wouldn't have got my vote. Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0 -

I'm not a conservative. I have to keep repeating myself as if you so much as try and take a view of all 3 parties, you are simply labelled conservative.
I'm not sure what any of what you said though relates to your 2 pies.
The fact is simple. 3 main parties, tories got more votes than the other 2. Your point was to try and count the votes of labour and lib dems, as one, to try and suggest this was somehow wrong, or the wrong way to look at it.he 'allegedly' voted Lib Dem but is very sensitive if anyone says anything negative about any of the Conservatives.
strange that one
Yes chucky. I decided to tell everyone I voted for the party that came third place instead of telling everyone I voted for the winning party. You know, just for the crack.
Your loosing it dear chap. I've consistently said on here im voting lib dems. Doesnt mean I'm completely blinkered to lib dems and therefore hate everyone else.0 -

Cameron has said he is prepared to implement raising the personal allowance to 10k.0 -

As I have said before, I respect Darling, but can't respect Brown, Mandleson, or indeed, any of the other lot on the front bench, and I detest Harman.
But I don't see the sort of insults coming from tory supporters, or lib dem supporters that I see coming (a lot) from labour supporters. As many know I use DT on this forum and it's the same there.0 -
so you've never heard of coalition or national governments - bl oody hell, we do have some really intelligent people here
Chucky, !!!!!! just get over it. Labour didn't win, end of. Ever since the result all you've done is whinge and whine on here like some little kid and lashed out at anyone who has dared to say anything negative about your beloved Labour party.
Just... get... over.... it. And grow up.0 -
