Well, have had a reply from Sir Terry lot.
They agreed that the store should have taken the Lidl coupon and the manager of the store has been informed. They are sending me a £5 gift card to compensate me.
I am waiting for a reply to further questions re policy as its not fair we are being treated so badly.

sinw - where are you storing all the bleach, etc. I have run out of room really.
I had two laundry baskets and have filled one with bottles of bleach, all piled up on top of each other.

T&C ; There is one prize of £1000 to be won every 90 minutes between noon and 7.30pm daily from 06.04.10 until 31.05.10 inclusive. Entries received after 7.30pm will go into the next available draw
- I read that as dont apply after 7.30pm or before 1.30 lunch time, as all entries in that time period go in the noon 90min draw, so there will be more people than average in the first draw each day. So that leaves you with 1.30 to 3pm, 3 to 4.30pm, 4.30 to 6pm, or 6 to 7.30pm, do you go for early afternoon when people are at work perhaps and put them all in one go?
