The component cable it comes with is the best to use, as has been said, it has seperate feed for the different colours. It also comes with a component to scart adapter (well my amazon.de one came with one)
That's composite, not component, and all the colours go through the yellow connector. Component cables cost extra but the picture quality is far better than the included composite lead gives.0 -
Component is the best cable to get not composite0

Do I need to buy controllers? Does it come with any games? (I want the sports one- I think!)...I've not quite got my finger on the pulse of top technology and appreciate any help/ advice.
Many thanks!
Presumably I'll have to change the plug? Are any instructions in English? And how do I send it back if its broken or breaks down?
Sorry for all the questions! Any help MUCH appreciated!
You will need one of these which is bettr than a standard cheapo shave plug but a shave plug will do.
Its the same console as we get here so you change the language to English the same as you would if you bought it here .
If your spanish change it so spanish .
Its the same console .

I am assuming you are all getting the message from markeybhoy75 post these consoles are the same. Seriously people, don’t expect everything to be explained and repeated each time and do some research yourself. Everything about the process including ordering, adapters, manuals etc has been covered from page 163 onwards on this forum. In addition, there are number of posts elsewhere on the web you can read by typing into Google “ordering Nintendo wii from Amazon.de” or similar and you can read other comments if what is said here is not enough. I am yet to find somebody who had any major problems and found this post stating:If you have an Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com account you can use the same login and password on Amazon.de.Differences between German Wii and English Wii:* Need a continental plug adapter as it has no UK plug fitting. (A trip down the shops.)
* Instructions to Wii Sports game were in German. (This is not a problem as the game is self explanatory)Great things about ordering your Wii from Germany:* The Wii manual itself is in many European languages. (Obviously English is one.)
* The Wii console interface can be set to any language you like. (Default is English)
* It actually works out cheaper to order from Germany!
* Learn some German by reading the Wii BoxGood luck and have fun with the Wii.Oh yes, because it comes from Germany it has a 2 year warranty as standard, not the usual 'rip-off Britain' one
I am not sure if you would get the two year warranty because in the event of breakdown you would have to return it to the Nintendo UK customer care centre and they only offer one year warranty. If somebody has any more info on this please post the answer here. Can I also suggest you visit the Nintendo UK website wii.nintendo.co.uk for more info where you will also find contact number for Nintendo UK customer care and ask them any questions regarding warranties and returns.0 -
