He also does a cup of tea or Coffee and 2 fruit scons for just £1.

Can anyone recommend a plasterer? I think/hope I have someone sorted but we need the job done quite quickly so would like some back up numbers of other plasterers.

    Thanks

Mum's friend's son (convoluted link, I know) is a plasterer... I'll PM you his details...

A page or two back in this thread there are recommendations for skip hire companies in MK, plus I think man with a van people (although not sure if they would do the rubbish collection part but it may be worth asking).

A big up for MK Council for this one.

As you know, I was looking for a skip earlier in the thread. I had a new kitchen put in and had the carcasses, plenty of wood and some electrical goods to get rid of.

I found the details on the MKWeb site here.

Called up last Monday to arrange a collection. For £40 (per half hour visit) they told me that they'd collect and remove all of the items from my kitchen. All I had to do was to leave the items on the boundary of my property.

I was offered the next non-refuse-collection day if I wanted it, but I scheduled it for today instead.

Popped all my stuff on my driveway yesterday and hoped that they would arrive - got home to a completely empty drive with no mess left behind.

Can only recommend... it would've cost me a lot more for a man & van, and certainly a hefty lump for a skip. I know that the items have been properly disposed of and I haven't had to cart anything to the tip myself. A fantastic service :T

theyre fab for that and dont forget they will collect it for free if it is an item/s that you would move house with e.g sofa, bed, fridge. Have lived in MK for 30 years and only just found this out last month!!
