Not sure about the powercut - it was really odd: mum and dad in Bradville had one, they said that Bancroft went off too, but in Blue Bridge I didn't suffer at all! How strange that is.
Anyway, onto my next plea for help: skip hire. I need a skip for a day - can anyone suggest a reputable place who are reasonably cheap??
PS: Redbedhead - have you moved? We moved two weeks ago... finally!!0 -

The buses do have room on them for prams, providing the bus isn't too crowded! I used to go to the Shopping Centre with my children on the bus and often got on and left them in the pram.

Depending how old your daughter is (streetwise) - riding school is within walking distance from the bus station. Footbridge behind the train station and into Loughton. Should take no more than 10 mins to walk.
Can't help re the buses at all - I drive everywhere and don't know any of the bus routes. But if there's a bus from your estate to the city/bus station, then its only a 10 mins walk. Hope it helps.new_mum_again wrote: »Hi, Does/has anyone used Loughton Manor Riding School or any other riding schools accessable by bus? my daughter really wants to learn to ride. And as I dont drive Jolly Jockeys is not an option.

I live in Lougton & the riding school is well thought of here.
There are buses that stop very close to the equestrian centre - don't know the numbers, though I do know they go through to Westcroft0 -
