I just wanted to chip in with my comments on this whole wonderful Boots-tastic thread.
Having recently been roped in to take small parties from work to go Bootsing every day- I think I can safely say that I am very familiar to most of the Boots staff by now. There are a couple that I try to avoid as you just know it won't be an easy transaction, but I did happen to get one of these yesterday and after I'd spoken to her for a bit (it was a full basket !) she actually turned out to be really nice.:j
I think we also lucky in Lincoln to have nice No 7 SA's (most of them) and there is one really lovely girl who will find you the best deals of the moment and give you little sample freebies as well.:T
Don't mean to gloat, just wanted to say that the SA's don't always deserve the grief we give them and I have asked and they can't wait for tomorrow when the offers finish.:D
Good for all of you who tried the 342 or 641 and came out feeling on top of the world - it does wonders for your self confidence.
Roll on tomorrow - I'll be straight in there trying to see what works best to get the free jewellery roll with £15 spend and will report back to command post !I was going to take over the world but got distracted by something sparkly.......0 -

went to boots at trafford centre today and didnt dare try 641 or even 341 after reading that it didnt work for some people this morning, so was a bit disappointed with myself but as i was going to pay for my 1 no.7 moisturiser and haircare product i noticed a SA putting reduced stickers on all the danielle ryman products so i hovered around until she had finished and they were all between £1 and £1.65 so i got 4.
i checked my receipt when i got outside and it had took 75% off the reduced prices so cost between 25p and 41p each! i went back in and emptied the shelves!0 -
BargainMad wrote:I see someone has been in touch with customer services/is taking up with a store manager why they were refused a voucher in conjunction with a 3 for 2.
Please think again.....
If you read the voucher YOU WILL SEE it is not MEANT to be used in conjunction with ANY other offer or discount. It is there is black or white.
If you tell CS/Store manager that you "have done it before" all you are doing is letting Boots know about the "glitches" that You, Me, EVERYBODY has taken advantage of in the last few weeks. NONE OF US ARE MEANT TO USE THEM IN CONJUNCTION. If an SA does their job right and refuses, accept it with good grace and move on. Kicking up a fuss only brings Boots ever closer to preventing glitches in the future....or knocking vouchers on the head altogether !
I realise the store manager is ringing you back but try and drop the subject because you are opening up a can of worms and in reality the sa that refused you WAS doing their job right.
I love your posts so much just had to see it again.
Tell you what though. It may not be a bad idea for the vouchers and glitches to stop as I may have a cleaner house. The kids did not even have clean uniform today and its only Tuesday  :rotfl: I did have a day off today and had a bit of a catch up.:T Although that did include TESCO!!!0 -
Guys, remember the Post of the Month......Foxy Lady:):):):):):):):):):)The world is full of Pink Fluffy Clouds......you just need to open your eyes to see them:)

to Jacksons mum, you know I took this to the check out in manchester market street, and even with 75%off would only go through on the £3 in was marked, so no such luck there! The sign of a wasted life is a tidy house, Welcome to the chaos!0

the SA had to manually enter the reduced price of £1.xx then the till took the 75% off that so maybe it will only work with the reduced price stickers0
