    question for anyone who's around:

if we publish an 'absolute basics shopping list which meats health criteria for absolute minimum cash' leaving people the extra money to spend as they will, is this a genuine good bonus?

Or would people feel like, well, yes but what on earth can I cook with it?

and would the extra money just go on wine? (I have no problem with wine, :Dbut if it would then I'll have to up the amout of F and V in the bare minimums list to counteract the effects of the wine IYSWIM?)

Edit: sorry I'm not expressing this very well :)

I mean if kitty/shirl had met the barest of minimums for £74 a month or just 60p per person per day, is this a helpful list to give and does it have value on our website?

I think you would need to be a very expert fisher indeed to be able to use a list without also having a list of dishes you could cook with it. They would need, after all, to use up everything, so need to be able to work that out

    SPOILER ALERT

I'm afraid that did not work for me at all. (If anyone's not seen it yet, look away now - SPOILERS !).

It had the same effect, in fact, as when they killed off Ianto in the last series of Torchwood - over the top, unnecessary, done purely to shock. I spent all the rest of that brief season of Torchwood waiting for Jack to do something, go back in time and make it unhappen - and I'll probably spend the finale totally unable to concentrate on the rest of the action while waiting for the Doctor to go back and do the same for Amy. Oh, and he has to make the Tardis explosion unhappen, too. But he has to get the hell out of Pandorica first.

They gonna have to pull out a helluva lot of rabbits out of a hat next episode. Overwrought, I felt :(

    Have watched it now.

I dont think Amy will be dead, so I think he will go back in time and save her. I dont have the emotional connection with her just yet whereas I sobbed when Billie Piper/Catherine Tate left. He's just not quite David Tennant is he?:(

The shopping list in this post is now complete. Weezl, I'm afraid I hit a few snags though - ASDA in my area do not do "ethnic" spices and pulses, so I had to substitute the nearest equivalent to get an idea of the prices. The substitutes on the list are in red.
