We miss you too Yukki, but life takes over sometimes. You didn't miss much with Eurovision, unless dresses with butterfly wings take your fancy. Not a vision I will be able to forget for a long while!

What aboutt he turkish power ranger/suit of armour thing
It was amazing!£11,000 in 2011 = £71.740 -
ha! I knew Germany would win! Only watched a couple of songs but you could tell she was going to win as she had what sounded like a proper song, and she had something about her as opposed to the people in stupid outfits that were like singing bits of wood in orange makeup...
well OH has worked out our finances and we've got £75 a week to get all household stuff inc. nappies wipes toiletries etc...which is more than some have, think we need to get DD1 onto dry nights to save money on pullups...have applied for an A&L loan which seems pretty reasonable, just in case they accept...and are going to apply to some place that looks at different ways of credit scoring, to see what we can do. OH thinks we might get more tax credits this year so that would help. I signed the petition for finance education to be taught in schools a bit ago, really believe it should be, I wouldn't be in this mess if it had been when I was in school!
-the irony is that my dad is giving us £5,800 for a car; when my mum died her car went to my sister and my dad said he'd do the equivalent for me and my brother; it was originally £3,000 but he's helped the others out with the rest of the total in the last year so I get the same! Amazing. Am going to use some of it to pay a year's insurance upfront and if we can just get our finances in order it might be worth me getting a job; but I'm going to look into respite fostering right now as it sounds brilliant (thanks Jo)and would mean I wouldn't have to put the little one in childcare. Sorry for the babbling nature of my posts btw; sometimes as I write I'm working out a plan in my head! It really helps, I should do this in a notebook too...xx

Paula it all sounds really positive. fantastic news about the car.
have you thought about getting reusable pull ups for DD1 till she's dry at night. might save you money in the long run and if you get a reasonable make they will resell well too? you probably wouldn't need many if its just night time and mainly wees. also she will notice the wetness more and may help her become dry at night.
hope you get somewhere with the respite stuff as it does sound like something you would really enjoy and care about.

morning - Paula your on the go early today getting ready for church??? hope everybody is fine, havent had time to read back, just popping in to update signature and keep me motivated, have another £85 to add to signature, had my first disaster with a cake friday night, totally collapsed so was up at 5.30 yesterday to get another ready, turned out brilliant though - Little Bo Peep, sitting on the hill crying with the sheep peeping out from bushes around the base of the cake, picked up another order while getting ribbon for the cake base from the lady in the sewing shop, will see if i can leave busines cards next time i'm in. Am hoping to add more photos onto the website today and have a think of how i can promote my business a bit more (even thought of doing a mock wedding cake and asking lady in shop if she would display it in window when she was doing a wedding display next time)
okay way to battle with technology,
have a great day - catch up later

Skint, you're doing so well!! You were only selling to friends at the beginning of the challenge weren't you? Just had a nosey on your site, cakes are ace, not being critical but just wondered if you might get better results with your pics if you took them in daylight? Maybe if you've got an outside table or you could put a cloth down on the grass? I find I get better pics in daylight and the object looks better, I did get a daylight bulb which is pretty good but might be an idea to take advantage of the good weather? - if you're getting any lol, I'm taking the kids up to the castle as we're English Heritage members so get in free and they've got an event on today; spoke to the guide and he said to come Sun as the weather was meant to be good but I'm not so sure...
Jo, as it happens I've got all the real nappy stuff on the table for pics but nobody seems to want it, and since I've got two packs of disposables to use while out (and not feel guilty about buying, and eventually give up and use all the time) I've decided I'll give it a stab. Might have to get some more large covers as they run out so quickly and we do have some reusable training pants so only a small spend, if that, needed:money:hehe! Also have got a waterproof sheet for accidentsRight, good, found some on Ebay! The thing with the training pants is they seem to leak through very quickly? Maybe just need to persevere...:) and yes Tuesday I will be phoning the relevant people about respite care - it's a form of fostering that isn't long-term enough to put OH off (for the moment, with the children we already have) - so it's like something I can get away with and gradually work upwards lol! Woop woop:D
oh good the baby's just done a poo in her reusable...nice *shudder* xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
ok Sundays mini move for May.
this will be the last mini move for May. think we've done quite well. we've had 4 weeks with one day off. give yourself an hurray for any mini moves you decided to do,enjoy the bank holiday and see if you can think of a theme or focus or manageable intention for the first week of June. eg just for this week I will focus on designing new products and spend 30 mins twice a day on this, or I will list 1 ebay item each weekday evening, or I will spend 20 mins a day investigating ways to save money on household bills, or I will spend 10 mins each day with a specific relaxation technique, or I will say hello to someone knew each day etc
someone suggested giant jumps for june I think but can't remember exactly. I'm very happy to hand over to whoever would like to do that if they still do.lol

Paula - http://www.thefca.co.uk/become-a-foster-carer/what-are-the-different-types-of-placement It is for the agency I used to work for but I have no link with them at all anymore, so get no benefit for it.
http://www.pathwaycare.com/children-with-disabilities/ - I know people who work for this agency but I have no personal interest in the comapny!

Paula the motherease bedwetter pants seem the best overnighters that are pull ups as they hold more than a small accident if you know what I mean.
they are expensive but you can get secondhand and there are some on auction here.
