PS Paula, I had all the real nappy stuff for DD and never really got into it at all and ended up feeling guilty using pampers but hey it was just one job too far for me as I found it a bit of a struggle after DD was born.
I hope I haven't misled you with the respite care stuff. our local authority seems to do some that doesn't involve overnighting but the links of Nixis seem to be for at least a weekend. anyway still worth finding out about I think.

hi Paula, just popped back on, really need to get the pictures sorted, have just added bo-peep to website and took that picture outside - much better, colours more vibrant, so will try to take them outside from now on, only thing is its usually late at night they are finished! waas just friends orders to begin with and charging about a tenner a cake to begin with but things are beginning to expand, i know it will take a while to build up which is fine as i'm learning as i go to be honest

Thanks Nixi!! :T I miss Terry too lol. Have just applied to the one of those links that does Yorkshire (although not sure if they'll cover my area but worth a try) and wrote a note explaining exactly what I could currently do. Will have a look at some other agencies too. Will be a good start if I can manage it - just unsure if they'll want me if I've already got DD2 around (DD1 will be at nursery half-days soon). Apart from that I can't see any drawbacks, not really worried about the house, as if there are any safety issues etc that can always be sorted and I'm sure there must be people who foster who are on the same level of chaos as me!
Jo, I found these too http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130395917710&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT and am considering buying BIN as after the time it'd take to go through a couple of packs of pullups I'd be saving money. but if not might Snipe if I can
...yeah I find the real nappies really disgusting, did you? It's not so much the nappies as the pooey water in the bucket when they've been soaking! Anyway shall give it a go, it's weird though as when I last used them on DD2 her bum seemed a weird shape and the nappies were bulging out of the wraps and leaking; maybe she's narrowed at the hips as they seem fine now! Weird.
This is lovely

Think I might have got my mini move in mind, thanks Jo - apply to a different agency each day xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
Ooh that is good Skint! Might be good getting a daylight bulb, this is the one I got -

-it's cheaper here than mine was, think I paid about £14 but it was winter then! So bargain price lolhelps if you use a white background to reflect the light too, here's one I did under the daylight bulb when it was dark outside - with a crap camera, but you can see the colours as they look in daylight xx
-hehe

Paula they are great and not bad BIN price. they don't hold as much as the bedwetters but more than a lot of training pants. shame the bedwetters are called that but really just more absorbent training pants.
That story is lovely too.

Paula - glad they were of use!! How are the Sulkies going? Just had a thought...could you do personalised bride and groom cake toppers? I know you can but plastic ones, or have 'icing' ones but just had a random thought after seeing your pic above that your earing ones could be keepsake cake toppers, only worry is that they might be too heavy, but if they are fine as earings then I wouldn't have thought so........
Skint - about to go nose at your website!!Life is a work in progress0 -
love the bo-peep cake skint.

Skint - they are fab!! I agree with Paula about the photos, if you get a daylight bulb and a white background then you can have consistent looking pics, which will look very professional!! If you want to go all out http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Photo-Studio-Background-Support-Free-Backdrop-/250568682567?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Photography_StudioEquipment_RL&hash=item3a570eac47#ht_7389wt_1137 or use it as an idea of how to set up your own fabric!!Life is a work in progress0
