if you've got an iphone, there is a FREE app which gives you a lightsaber, you can change the colour and the person and play the music!!!:eek: I do it when I want to batter a few pesky small businessmen and I'm Darth Vader, complete with music!!:eek:

Now that sounds like fun, only problem is i'd need an Iphone not my ancient housebrick!!

*** hmmm!!! wonders if I can persuade OH to swap phones for the night of the Brighton Bash ;) ***

    Reporting in with NSD #3.

Seriously impressed with myself for this :)

Got to work this morning, and almost cried when I saw what had been wasted from the bakery last night....... Looooooaaaaaaads of 'my' Almond Croissants and several of my favourite loaves - all of which had been reduced to 19p each :(

No bread to speak of waiting for reduction today, but loads of the croissants again. I knew if I picked up the frozen veg on the way home I'd end up going back down - and other than bread the veg is the only thing I currently need - so I talked myself into using the tinned veg I had in (and which was officially OOD by 9 months, not that I take any notice of that ;) )

Have sat on my hands all evening..... and the store is now 12 mins from closing, so it's too late for me to go back and means I can safely report an NSD

Have decided what's coming out of the freezer for tea tomorrow - and it's another 'no veg required' meal (has tinned toms and baked beans in it, so not totally 'vegless'), so I'm hoping to keep tomorrow as another NSD too :)

Only issue is bread, so I must call OH and then get the bread machine going....... sod's law says if I start sorting the bread machine first he'll call me while I'm at it and it'll all go horribly wrong rolleyes.gif

How very true--talk about a Freudian slip :rotfl:

So--how have you been enjoying your day? It seems I've started something here, but when The Offspring were bubbies we used to call today Star Wars Day, cuz of Yoda & Obi-Wan Kenobi telling folk "May the Fourth Be With You!" laugh4.gif Then again, it would still tie in with a 70s theme wouldn't it! Perhaps we could do one for Brighton & another for Liverpool, altho I suppose the obvious choice would be the 60s & The Beatles, Jerry & the Pacemakers, Cilla..There's plenty of decades so we needn't fall out over it :D

As suspected, no nsd for me today--ce la vie :o Now. Where's me Ewok scuttled off too...

Is anyone anyone else feeling disturbed by Martin as a Sith for Star wars day? Its quite unsettling!

Not sure about Martin. I feel strangely attracted to Darth Maul himself though. There's something about those nobbly bits on his head.....and he's got a double lightsaber .........ooooooooooo. Sorry he's so big :odarthmaul22.jpg

TBH, I thought he was a bit of a lazy alien - why be creative when you can just paint your villian striped and put some horns on? Then blow your CGI budget on Jar Jar...
