Hi lovely NSD gang :A
Great start to the month for lots of you - good to see so many NSDs rolling in so early. Some brilliant posts today - we seem to have diverted along the Star Wars path today - great ideas for costumes for our next night out. Have we decided on Brighton - guess that might be the only place ready to cope with us on our Star Wars costumes:rotfl:
Welcome to the newbies joining us. We’re a friendly bunch on here, have a lot of laughs and occasional bouts of insanity, but we’re all committed to getting as many NSDs as possible, so keep posting and we’ll give you lots of encouragement.
Wildchild: :wave:hi and welcome, of course you can join us - as you might have realised by now, we are a slightly insane, but very friendly bunch, feel free to join in with the general chat as well as posting your updates. Signing you up for 22 now, look forward to seeing you back here.:)
complimentschemistry: :wave:hi and welcome to the NSD challenge, good to have you on board. Signing you up for 10 now, look forward to seeing your progress (PS: see comment above, we are mildly insane so feel free to join in the general chat as well as updating your totals):)

Spoon, you give us lots of encouragement when we manage a NSD, but then your achievements are glossed over at the end... so I just wanted to say, woo hoo! 4 NSDs - well done. And also
For helping us all stay on the straight and narrow but not reining in our insanity

Good luck everyone!0 -
We're now 5 days into May and I have yet to manage a NSD  It's been crazy around here with one thing and another. I'm hoping that the weekend will help as have no plans one day and a party the next. It's very frustrating after doing so well last month.
I'm spending today and tomorrow on social things. Think I will get all my spending done for birthdays etc tomorrow and then should have a bit more success in the NSD dept.CC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999

Put the machine on (using a granary mix I got from App Foods) and set it running last night. Was due to finish around 10:40 (knew I should have put it on when I got in from work), and at 10:30-ish DS came out of his room and asked if I was making bread - and when would it be ready.
So by 10:50 about a third of the loaf had disappeared (looks like I'll have to make another this morning as I'm hopefully out tonight! I knew there was a reason I don't make my own bread very often) - and I now need to add margarine to the shopping list for when I next reluctantly open my purse in the shops

I've only managed 1 NSD so far, but am hoping that today will be one too. Have to go into town to change library books so am resisting walking around the town. Shall park in the 20min bays so that I am not tempted..:D
