TBH It's just for 100 extra points so I'm not all that fussed.0 -
Well got a reply from Tesco regarding them not accepting internet printed vouchers (read previous messages). And as I thought the SA and the Supervisor were talking rubbish. So will print a copy of the email and the voucher again and back to Tescos :-)
Heres the email reply I got incase its of use to others....
Thank you for your email addressed to Sir Terry Leahy, our Chief Executive, to which I have been asked to reply.
I was sorry to learn of the disappointment that was recently caused when your internet coupon for a Free Pack of Darylea Spread was not accepted in our Newtownbreda Extra store. I can fully appreciate how annoying this must have been for you and would like to offer my sincere apologies. I am happy to clarify our coupon policy for you below.
We do accept internet and printed coupons for products, as long as you buy the product. This includes Tesco own, and Supplier direct coupons. We do not accept coupons from other retailers for specific products, however we do accept competitor's conditional spend vouchers ie £5 off £50 spend.
We also continue to accept Healthy Start and Luncheon Vouchers.
In light of the service that you received in the store, I have spoken with Paul Sherman, our Duty Manager, who confirmed that the correct policy has been communicated and reiterated to the relevant staff on a number of occasions. I am very sorry that despite this, we have let you down on this occasion.
Paul has taken the details that you kindly provided, and will ensure that appropriate action is taken with the staff member involved in order to prevent any recurrence.
Thank you again for taking the time and trouble to contact our Chief Executive. I hope that despite this unfortunate situation, you will give us the opportunity to restore your faith in our operations.
Kind Regards
Kirsten Callan

Posting this in case its of use to anybody...
I was given a £5 voucher because of a problem with a previous order (comes up as a clubcard coupon when I use it)
On my next order I used it but then cancelled the order as I had chosen the wrong address
I placed a new order and was able to reuse the voucher code
Now the interesting part ...
I was sent a NEW voucher for £5 because of the original cancelled order
I have also now repeated the above process so its a method of creating a unlimited re-usable voucher
Drawback is that you have to fill your basket twice although the cancelled order items all appear in your favorites so its quite easy0 -
They all have an expiry date on them (2yrs), so you just have to use them before that date.
Just wanna reply to this. You can request to receive your vouchers less often than normal. Like once every 2 quarters.
I often ring them up and have them carried over, and they print them all out in the next statement.
I have a load of theme park tickets to use this year...cannot wait!0 -
Hi,
Can one order a dvd boxset at a Tesco store to be collected from them, even if they don't stock it - but their website does?
Reason is I received with my vouchers a Voucher for '£4 off a £40 spend in-store or online'. However it does not accept on the Tescoentertainemnt site so must be for Grocercies only. If I can have access to the DVD box set in store then I could use the £4 voucher. would they do that, ie order for me (from their entertainment division)?
Thanks

I've had Waitrose vouchers accepted. Always check first with Customer Services desk tho'. Even if they've said no and I tell them you have before - if they still say no I ask to speak to a manager and he says if it's a conditional spend voucher then we take it. I think CS just say "no" as a matter of course.0 -
