anyone got ho phone number.
i was in tesco old swan liverpool yesterday where they had the prey poster up. i didnt get the discount so went over to cs they offered me 20 i refused it. He said oh we had someone on sunday come in trying it, i said oh right so the manager has known the poster is out of date since then. I said i will speak to ho he went off to get a manager. He spoke to 2 managers and they turned round and said 20 or phone ho. The annoying thing is they never even came over to speak to me.
so i phoned ho from the CS phone, funnily enough when i got threw and started to tell the ho the phone went dead. got through for the 2nd time and the guy said its a technical error so cant give me a price refund and they have a team who r dealing with it. i said well the poster is out of date according to the CS, he siad no its a technical problem so cant give me a R+R. meant to be getting a call back soon but im not happy with their attitude. funny thing is they took the poster down some "technical error" lol anyway any help appreciated
thanks

Kylie the carnival fairy stickered at £3.73 - scanned at £3.97 :T
Another item for Ebay!!!!!!!!
I seem to be in an area where no-one else on this board frequents so if i go between all 3 of our local Tescos i should get some really good deals
Can I ask why get this r&r'd if you don't actually want it?[/QUOTE]
In actual fact i have put in the Christmas box to be wrapped up as a stocking filler for my niece.
I was very curious about the r&r policy at tesco but seeing as i shop there on a regular basis i thought i would try it - no harm in that is there?
I cant stop wondering now just how much they have been overcharging me for the last 8 years.FINALLY DEBT FREE 9th JULY 2007£23K PAID IN FULL.PROUD TO HAVE DEALT WITH MY DEBTS :jDON'T LOOK AT THE STAIRCASE, JUST THE 1ST STEP IN FRONT OF YOU.0 -

Dear me - calm down Dudes.
I can understand the point Bleugh was trying to make - perhaps not the most subtle attempt to make such - but quite effective.........
Dudes - let's not close this thread - when it stays on topic it's quite interesting and usually helpful.
Newbies - you really need to do a couple of things - read the first post - do some research, be it tesco.com or visiting a store....try and learn about the R&R system - you will find out so much when you go for it as opposed to being spoon-fed on here.
It's like Crouch posting on the footie thread 'How do I score a goal' - he has to go out and try and score one!
And then - if you do get problems - post here and we will help you!
Posting questions such as 'What is Bogof? What is R&R?' etc just winds people up......
So Dudes - get out there - try your hand - report back with mis-prices and any questions - you will then find posters more amenable to helping you on this thread.
And finally Mcdonag and 'chums' - dear me - if you value your personal little laughter club so much then off you go and don't forget to shut the door behind you and your attitude - I wish you well.

I'm pretty green at all this but I have had some success with meat - mainly thanks to tips on here. However, I have been caught out when a meat pack has scanned at the lower sel price rather than the higher pack price. I haven't felt comfortable about telling the cashier I don't want it - my local is quite small and you get known very quickly - so i've taken it back to CS, apologised and said I thought I had my coolbag in the car but husband must have taken it out so I can't take the meat.
They have checked the time and agreed immediately to refund me so long as the stuff hasn't been out of the chiller for more than 20 minutes (which seems fair from a health/resale point of view - although I'm not sure i like the idea of buyin fresh food which is basically second hand cos its been returned by an earlier customer!)ELITE 5:2

Hey everyone, watched this thread for a bit so had a go last night.
Typically every phone was bang up to date and the games were sparce...did however find two in the end for the DS (Star Wars & Tony Hawk) labels on the box were 19.94 scanned at 19.99...typically the scanner in the entertainment section does not work so I had to take them to the other end of the store to check.Debt Free Marathon: Start 01/06/09 £16714 - Current Position £14514 - Finish Line Xmas 20100 -
I'm sorry, guys, but as this thread has also descended into arguments and insults, even though warnings about this were clearly given in the previous thread that had to be closed because of this, it will now be closed until the Forum Team have had a chance to decide on it.
A new thread for discussion will not be opened on the Grabbit board in the meantime. It's becoming clear that these Misprice discussion threads just can't be kept on topic and useful as they were intended to be, and they are taking up so much time for the BGs. I will ask the Forum Team will decide whether to continue with these threads on this board.0 -
I'm afraid I have to agree with redfox here, however I'm prepared to give one last chance for this thread to remain civil, on-topic and polite. I will keep the thread locked for a while to give everyone the chance to read this and open later. If it has to be locked again, it will be perminent unfortunately.

Aaaaargh. How I miss the discussion thread.
Please forgive me for this....but...
At the cs desk finishing getting R&R when dishy young guy ( thats why I noticed him:rolleyes: ) goes to Other assistant further along cs desk.
I heared him clearly say he had been overcharged on 2 cd's. My ears pr1cked up and I about snapped my neck in 2 trying to see which cds and how much they were.....whilst trying NOT to look too obvious of course.:D
I THOUGHT one had Green Day written on it - but definitely NOT the American Idiot one. Sticker said £8.97
But I couldn't loiter any longer without looking completely suspect....so left and just checked another store, but cannot see any other Green day cd....so maybe I need to get some glasses. Scanner doesn't work, so couldn't try to see which it COULD have been.
Can anyone throw any light on this, my musical knowledge is limited.
I have just checked latest posts and cannot seem to see anything which could relate to these 2 mystery R&R cds0
