Replies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

And after I posted the previous message it all became right.

It used to be the case that if I replied to a post I was automatically subscribed to the thread. That doesn't happen now and I have to remember to manually subscribe every time I contribute to a thread, which is a real nuisance as I often provide information which leads to the OP asking further questions and if I forget to subscribe manually, I often can't find the thread again.
Please can the old way be reinstated?
ThanksI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

This is a minor issue, but I'll report it all the same.
My forum RSS feeds used to show the MSE (Martin) logo for the feed titles. The same logo that is used for the browser url bar/favicon.
Now for some reason this has switched to the default vBulletin logo.

I just had a major problem with your forum, I was posting some student info on the boards, afterwards i returned to the main menu of the site, i clicked on the utilities tab, the page loaded, then my Avira antivirus popped up and told me there was a malicious script embedded in the page, i quarantined it but then more Avira alerts started telling me that a viris was in my temp folder, i quarantined it, then time after time i had more Avira alerts telling me that viruses were being copied to the windows system32 driver folder, i quarantined them, windows explorer process then crashed and would not restart, i have rebooted, and have no login screen, i rebooted in safe mode and have no login screen, im not looking to blame moneysavingexpert as i have heard that the site has been attacked recently, i am just making you aware of this, i have had to reinstall my windows from a restore disc ( i have a recovery partition but i could not boot it up either) just as well i made a restore disc phheeww!! just as well i have a (D: drive) data partition that i save my docs n stuff to as i had to wipe C: drive for the windows reinstall......
careful out there, the internet is the wild west of the digital age.......0
