    ah dancingbutterfly, found this

Full details are on page 28 in Hello Tomorrow for C17

I think mobiles are for reps only and the sim card and bluetooth offer is for customers only.

    ok, got mag and details

Sell two Anew products and get a mobile package worth £114.

    All this for just £10:

    Nokia 2330 worth £39
a sim card with £10 top up credit and 300 texts worth £30
an extra sim card with £5 top up credit and 300 texts worth £30 - the perfect gift for a friend
Use orange magic numbers to call each other for free

    How it works:

    1. just sell two or more Anew products from brochure 18, one to be Anew skincare
    2. you will automatically receive a voucher with a unique code in your C18 order
    3. Go online avonmobiles.co.uk/representative and type in your voucher code
    4. Pay your £10 and fill in your details
    5. Your phone and Sim cards will be dispatched free, usually the next working day

think it will probably be limited to 1 per rep as they did something similiar a few years ago with customers and didn't expect the volume of demand. bit like the glam boxes.

i'm just reading my booklet too.seems a good offer but it's doubtful i'll sell 2 products as i only have a few customers who buy the skincare and it's usually when they get a bonus bag free.i'm trying out the new anew lip volumiser and it aint done owt for me yet.says that i might experience tingling and i didn't get that so it'll go back next time if it don't work cos i'm not wasting £7.
  • As we are self employed I am wondering about paying NI contributions. This is my only source of income so can anyone tell me if I would have to pay them and if so how much they are likely to be?

    Hi AvonNewbie

rather than trying to baffle you with science, here is the links to the info, depending on your circumstances. Class 4 which we are all liable for, unless exemption rules apply, does NOT count towards benefits, so if this is all you pay, you will not be able to claim certain benefits unless you have already paid contributions to it previously.

    http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/nic/class4.htm

Class 2 are optional and if you earn below the threshold of £5,xxx.xx, you do not have to pay it, but must apply for exemption.

These however do COUNT towards benefits, so you need to think about whether or not you do not want to pay them.

If in doubt or want more advice, ring the Helpline, where the lovely helpful people will give you advice.

Seem to recall reading somewhere on here that NI is not due until your earnings exceed just over £5,000 p.a. and then it would be approx. £10 a month (£2.54? a week)
