And MarsdenCuckoo is right about council estates. Even though they are on a lower income, they are more likely to spend money on Avon, and will have the money for you ready when you say and will happily give you new leads.
Oh by the way, got 3 more new customers from my Dr's surgery, the ladies who work upstairs, saw my book and placed orders.0 -
angeluk69, each SL will tell their team upon sign up about the SL opportunity and it might be she sees potential in you, but you take your time. When and if you are ready, you go for it.0

Thanks aureol, will give it some thought going forward.
See your point about being irked. Guess I was lucky with the first and so far I haven't come face to face with the second 'set' (although am told they've lost orders, forgotten to collect orders and, it would seem, even delivered goods without taking payment....) so in the scheme of things they're hardly promoting a professional image for Avon!
Just going to concentrate on sales for now though - at least up to Christmas. Once I've managed Presidents Club then I'll give it some more thought. Bit surprised when I asked my SL if it was worth being a member of PC to be told she isn't..... Is that normal?

ooh like that one Christine... delivered goods without taking payment.... they must be able to afford it.
Yes, it is normal for an SL not to be member of PC club, you have to sit your targets within so many campaigns, and not everyone manages to make those targets. It is hard work.
If you want any more info on SLeadership, let me know.0 -
 sold 3 of the christian lacroix perfumes.... without even trying! This is from the ladies upstairs at the dr's surgery.0

I have forgotten to bring my Avon money into work AGAIN!!! Order day is Thursday - I know I probably asked this last campaign, but if I pay my money to HSBC tomorrow (Wed) should this clear for ordering Thur? My memory isn't as good as it used to be, must be turning 30 syndrome!! Have set a reminder on my phone so I don't forget it. xx0

Hi funky - my advice is work out your route you will take to drop off your cats, find out the house numbers. I did this on the Royal Mail webstie. Bag up all your cats with your contact details and an order form and put on it when you are going to collect and away you go!!
Don't be disheartened if you don't get any orders, you need to build people's trust.
And most importantly, enjoy it!!! xx0 -
Morning luvlies
I had a bit of a worry about this campaign a week ago as I honestly thought it would be a bit of damp squid.....needless to say I now have enough orders to take me over HOV!! and my flatmate, bless her, did order nearly £50 worth of goodies in the end. i still haven't collected all my C16 orders- think it will be a mad dash to the finish line
Hope we all have a lovely day today!

great advice Lyndsey.
funky, if you PM elliebee, she has a list of useful tips too that may help you.
I would offer advice but have had my delivery and need to do a quick sort and run to baby group as they want it today.
Will try and get on later with some advice.
I was thinking and shoot me down if you want, that it might be worth starting a new thread or making a word document of everybody's useful suggestions, because there are some fantastic suggestions, and if all in one place, useful reference for anyone at any time.0
