I know :o I'm tidying at the moment. Tidy house = tidy mind or something like that. Then I'm ready to start debt busting. I'm looking for a new broadband deal too and opening a new ISA, so I've been a bit distracted, sorry.

I think I might actually have received some motivation in my post today, so I'm going to get on.

    Gwenx

    Broadband: Plusnet

    ISA: Abbey (unfortunately)

Tidying: Chuck it all in the spare room and close the door

ok now that's sorted let's get cracking

    Do plusnet do mobile broadband?

I've already got an Abbey ISA. Not sure if I can have another? I'm opening an IF ISA to move my house renovation savings to.

My spare rooms already full of junk :D
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

I have Vodafone Pay & Go mobile broadband so I'm not tied to the house when I'm on call. £40 up front (£10 back through Quidco) price includes £15 credit & the best thing about vodafones mobile broadband is there is no expiry on the data as long as you log on at least once every 6 months (most expire a month after you buy it.)

No, I don't know anything about dongles ;)

Have you read this? I need to find out about this stuff but I'm on Vodafone who do unlimited 3G on my phone for £5 a month so maybe I can use that with my laptop too. Sorry, not helping..!

Ugh Abbey [shudder]. Have you seen this list? IF seems to be the best. Hurrah, another job ticked off the list

Just keep cramming stuff in until the really old stuff disappears through the window.

Right I'm ready for the matched betting when you are. [music from Rocky] :)

You have misinterpreted the relationship between Pat and me in the same way she does :)

Although she has yet to realise this, I am in fact the boss, as she cannot get food without me due to having no money, job, pockets or thumbs.

So I have sent her to bed on her own where she will attempt to take up ALL the space despite being tiny. So I can stay up a bit longer :)

Hehehe. Just catching up with what I missed last night & that totally reminds me of my married mates trying to convince me that they do in fact still wear the pants in their house ;)

Erm if I have just seen an offer on wine at £2.70 a bottle, should I be mentioning it here or definitely not mentioning it?

Ha - Pat is definitely a cat and not a wife, but the effect is similar :)

Thanks for the links. What is 3G? :o I'm sorry, I am soo bad with technology.

Yep, just filling in paperwork to transfer my existing ISA over. Hoping they don't make a total mess of it, like Shabbey did when I transferred my other one.

Spare bedroom - if I'm not careful that might actually happen. I have a parental visit at the weekend, so the place needs to look ok. Not with piles of post and clothes/shoes strewn all over as at the moment.

This has reminded me, for the shoe enthusiasts here, I ordered a pair of work shoes from Dune half price a few weeks ago. They are the best things ever (well for work shoes anyway) and all the better because they were on sale :D

Mention away. What and where is it? Can I go and buy one?
