Hello. Unsurprisingly, I am unwell. I think I shall stick to water for the next few days.

Hiya - oh dear, not too ill I hope. I won't suggest a hair of the dog, just in case :)

Dan, hope it went well with your neighbour :D

We ended up fitting seat covers to his new car instead of doing the internet lesson - I was quite glad really as I didn't feel like a very eloquent teacher today..!

  • It most certainly is :D Which is the main reason I HATE having an only child. But then I try and remember the people I know who have siblings that cause nothing but hassle for them.

Well I'm a bit hacked off today, I've decided not to go camping this weekend. I'm not happy about it atall but I cannot afford it unless I lend the money. Nicnacnoo has said she'll pay for me but there's no way I can let her do that.
I can't decide if I should cry of not... :rotfl: I could quite easily but I don't want to cry about having no money when I have nothing else to moan about. Having no money isn't the end of the world ;)

Oh pants. that is a real shame. I am sorry. Hope you have some fun this weekend hon, but you are right no money doesn't mean the end of the world xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    Evening

I'm just eating a sticky toffee pudding. I'm blaming it on 'Economy Gastronomy'. I was watching it on iplayer and they kept going on about puddings, until I just had to get up and find something ;) Enjoyed that programme more than the first one though. I'm wondering if the recipes are on the BBC website, but I probably need to cut them down a bit. Beef stew to feed a family of five for a week would last me months...

Sorry to hear about the camping Bowski. That's a shame. I'm sure you'll be there next time though, probably debt free!

I've just had some scary fella's shouting at each other right outside my house. Daren't get up and see what was going on, so just hid until they went away.

Better go, I'm determined to get something done tonight. Hello to everybody!

    P.S. I started a diary - yes, I did!

  • I've had a reprieve!

The bloke whose on-call I was covering tonight has cancelled his leave & is back on the rota.

3 Guesses what I'm doing now

Thanks Dan. I like the sound of the Navarin of lamb and those chocolate brownie things looked good.

    Thanks Dan.

No probs, haven't seen the programme but happened to be looking at the BBC Two page of the website when you mentioned it.

I know :o I'm tidying at the moment. Tidy house = tidy mind or something like that. Then I'm ready to start debt busting. I'm looking for a new broadband deal too and opening a new ISA, so I've been a bit distracted, sorry.

I think I might actually have received some motivation in my post today, so I'm going to get on.
