Night night. Be thankful you don't have to teach them matched betting:D

Have no idea what this "alcohol" is. Sounds dreadful. (Tastes nice though.;))

He'll be on that Ladbrokes site before he's 98, you mark my words.

I wish they made booze taste bad, it would save my brain cells :)

Right that's it from me - working until 1.30am tomorrow night though so will no doubt pop up at some point.

    'Night!

Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

No sore head here :j, mixing with water works ... it's just taken me about 15 years to realise that

I have to work 4pm to 1am. Do you think it's too late to catch 'flu and call in sick?

    Welcome in Dan29 and Londonfraggle...

I made a booboo this morning, I transferred $700 from oz to the Uk about 10mins before I remember that I need that money here to pay for shipping my stuff back next week... d'oh! So now I have to transfer it back again... paying double the charges...

Hello. Unsurprisingly, I am unwell. I think I shall stick to water for the next few days. :o

TDQ, bad news about the moneyicon9.gif but look on the bright side, in a few days you will be home:jAny more news on the girl you like, is she still going to come and visit?

Lula, I shall try the mixing with water. But not for a while, as the thought of alcohol is making me feel unwell for some reason.

Dan, hope it went well with your neighbour :D

    Hi sarah,

sorry to hear you're suffering today :( I've learned to always drink a pint of water before going to bed after a drinking session.

TDQ - helloooo, your return must be very soon, in fact we might even cross paths while up in the big blue :D. Nasty realisation about the money transfer, sounds exactly the sort of thing I would do .

I'm a bit miffed today. I lent my friend ( she who blew me out to meet dull Lamborghini Man) the 'just not ...' book to read & help her along with her internet dating. This was 2 weeks ago & yesterday I asked if she had finished it as I would like to reread it. She kind of mumbled that she had & asked if I wanted it back, I said yes please. This morning I wondered to her as to where it was & she asked if I wanted it right now, then looked at the ground like little kid & changed the subject  she's 42 & I've known her for years

Is it me or is this a bit odd ? I assume she's lent it to someone else who hasnt returned it or wants to keep it but just dont get why she hasnt said that to me. It was just a freebie as we all know but I clearly lent it to her to read rather than giving & I wouldnt lend out someone elses stuff without asking first.

I probably sound really petty & really dont care about the book - she can have it for tea if necessary :D but am just wondering what all the evasiveness is about.

On another note our boss is having a big birthday bash in September & the friend has suggested we ( including her sister who also used to work for boss) all share a taxi so we can get hammered. I've never been to a big social event with any of them & know they are all big drinkers. I dont get hammered unless at home or with people I know & trust really well & would prefer to drive & just have a couple of drinks, I like to keep my wits about me when in a strange place.

How do I go about driving over there ( happy to give them a lift) but get them to use a taxi for the return journey so I can escape when i want ?

Lula... Just say you've only got a babysitter till Xo'clock so say you'll just drive them there and have to leave early.

I know what you mean about the book, it does seem a bit odd. Could you ring her next time you're out and say I'll come and pick my book up while I'm out and about. Then she'll have to let ya know if she's got it or not.

I thought you meant it about the photo's by the way, but don't worry I'm not easily offende-and:iloveyou: also! :D

I was going to have an early night too. hmmm. it must be nice to be so close to your sister nic/browski xx

It most certainly is :D Which is the main reason I HATE having an only child. But then I try and remember the people I know who have siblings that cause nothing but hassle for them.

Well I'm a bit hacked off today, I've decided not to go camping this weekend. I'm not happy about it atall but I cannot afford it unless I lend the money. Nicnacnoo has said she'll pay for me but there's no way I can let her do that.
I can't decide if I should cry of not... :rotfl: I could quite easily but I don't want to cry about having no money when I have nothing else to moan about. Having no money isn't the end of the world ;)
