To be honest I don't know if I can afford their shoes, I might ask my mum if she can get them. I would have put them on my CC but I have frozen it whilst I am on Maternity leave.

We are never usually well off but this is the worst we have been since first getting together, back then we were living on just one lot of dole money between the two of us, as I was too young to be entitled to anything. My mum eventually gave me my child benefit money, which did help:)

Anyway I must go feed my child and decide whether to visit work for lunch at 1pm?

    I'm back!

Typing 1-handed while little prince feeds.

I had Alexander Harrison (Alex), 7lb 13oz at 17.40 on Monday by emergency c-section. Unfortunately I lost a lot of blood (3ltr, they worry about 1.5ltr:eek:) and had to go back into surgery under general. The blood was from the c-section cut so they sorted it quickly but I had 14hrs in recovery and came home yesterday after crying at the registrar!

Will keep it short for now and try to post pics soon. No chance of catching up though!

I've never been to the Next sale. I actually hate shopping for clothes. I prefer to buy classic style stuff so it doesn't go out of fashion, stuff in natural fabrics as synthetics give me prickly heat rash, and stuff that fit's women with curves. I never have much look in finding stuff in shops and normally get bored quickly and give up :o

Never been a handbag fan until I went to Turkey and bought a fake Gucci and a Prada. I love them :D

It's been lashing it down with rain here. It was warm and sunny yesterday afternoon and I took the dog out in shorts and flip flops. Then late afternoon it suddenly went black and the rain was unbelievable heavy. Within about 20 minutes the water was just standing on the lawn. It eased off but it was raining hard when I woke up this morning and it's never let up. It's going to be storm proof coat and wellies to take the dog out today.
Here I go again on my own....

sami - the pink is usually small amounts of blood dear :) Which is why I threw it out. No I haven't eaten anything red ;)I even donated my freshly dug up beetroot to my dogwalker as she's nuts about them and has beetroot sandwiches... weeeeeird :)
The reason I didn't risk giving it to Roo is that blood in the stomach in adults or children will usually increase the chances of vomiting... it's one of the reasons you're now advised to lean forward if you have a nosebleed so the blood can't run down the back of your throat and cause you to vomit when it hits your stomach (and thus setting off the nosebleed again...) :)

Thats not weeeeird! Dairylea spread and beetroot is the best sandwich ever! :D
MM, I just received a product to test from the survey company! :j

And stamps and guidelines from RM so I'm super clear on what I'm doing :D

    xx

I've just received a tub of vanish to test - bet it doesn't get baby food out in the first wash!
Ooh - and i've got to post my first RM letter this afternoon - although apart from it telling me where and when to send it, there wasn't any guildlines - have I missed something?

I do like Clarkes for my boy for school - the ones from last September are still in really good condition which is amazing for him!
DD's weren't so good though - she had new ones at easter which are already wrecked.

Mel - if you want to join our picnic on Monday - i've got lots of space in my car!

Welcome back Lu T! Crikey - 3 litres is very serious and I'm amazed they have released you already! They were worried about me with my 1 litre of bloodloss so 3 litres seems very very high to me? make sure you don't over do things!
