Heres the original Fruit Cobbler recipe:____________________________________________________Fruit Cobbler Recipe
In an oven proof dish add in 1 mug of self raising flour, 1 mug of granulated sugar and 1 mug of milk. Mix it all up so it's thoroughly mixed together and then add 1 tin of value tinned fruit of your choice on top. Bake in the oven on gas mark 4 until golden. The flour mix will rise up above the fruit.______________________________________________
Today I have made one a slightly different way as follows:_____________________________________________
Microwave Fruit Cobbler Recipe
Stew 2 cooking apples in a saucepan until pureed. Add 6oz flour, half a pint milk, 4oz sugar and 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence to a microwaveable dish and mix together thoroughly. Add the apple puree. Look on low power for around 40 minutes.__________________________________________2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -

Does 40 minutes in the microwave work out any cheaper than 40 minutes in the oven?2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Would Black Saturn's fruit cobbler work with stewed plums, or would there be too much liquid?I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.
