I don't even know where to begin on replying so I'll sheepishly wave and say 'love you all' and dash back out..

    Rocky Road...

Here you go, this is what I do...
    4 tbsp butter
    3 tbsp golden syrup
400g chocolate (I use 200g each of milk and dark - Ikea choc is quite cheap, melts well and is lovely)
150g chocolate chip cookies broken into small pieces
a large handful of mini marshmallows
4 tbsp raisins or dried cranberries (I tend to use cranberries cos I like them)
10 glace cherries chopped into small pieces

Melt the butter and syrup together in a pan until smooth, remove from the heat.
    Melt the chocolate.
Combine all ingredients together and stir to mix well.
Tip the mixture into an 18cm square tin lined with clingfilm and level the surface.
When cool, cover and chill for about 3 hours.
Remove from the tin, peel off clingfilm and cut into 16 chunks
    EAT and enjoy :D:D:D
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

    Good evening to everyone.

I am not sure where to start. I had a major breakdown and now I am starting fresh again. I was really naughty at my lowest point (deleting everything, shredding pictures, ripping clothes, having a bonfire - the lot) and now I am a bit sorry for that.

I missed you all, today I had over 10 pages to catch up with. I hope that all of you are alright and well, the sadness had passed and the good stuff is on its way to you all.
I wish I could have been well enough to go to the NEC even though I am more green-fingered than crafty but I do aspire to be creative enough one day to be able to make something really pretty.
My favourite colour combination is pale pink, mink and pale shiny blue. I like buttons and ribbons, and I like to cross-stitch = a CARD maybe??? When I retire I think. :-)

Thank you for sharing the NEC pics, I had a look. :-) Made me smile. Thank you.

That's all for now, take good care everyone and sending my little angels to all those in need. Love and hugs.

You've had the mum incident with the cereal, dad with his false teeth and coconut ice, dd telling the teacher re ceral, so time for a Whisky story.

A few yrs ago (early 2001), Id brought mum and dad an overnight mystery trip with our local coach firm and I'd got the weekend off work so that Whisky had company. So packed them off on the coach on the Sat morning, and was bored so thought I know I'll paint the kitchen, and hall, stairs and landing, so headed to B+Q, got the gear including what I thought was mums favourite colour magnolia......... Whisky helped in the kitchen........ he was half covered in paint, so he had to be bathed. That night he wouldnt eat his tea, so me being daft sod, went down to Safeway and brought him a Roast Chicken......he managed to eat that. That night took him upstairs (he sleeps in their room), I had to sleep in their bed as he wouldnt settle, about 3am I heard snoring coming from by me, was a bit worried.......Whisky had got himself into bed under the quilt, head on pillow snoring for England, next day he refused to eat again, so back down to Safeway for roast chicken, he eat it......had to put him in the car to fetch mum and dad.
Hes as spolit to this day xx

    Another dog story.....
Yrs ago (I was 18), we had a Springer Spaniel called Kim, and at the time my 1st car was a Vauxhall Chevette hatchback, affectionly know as the pig, every where I went Kim use to come with me, he'd start off in the boot, the jump over to the back seat then 30 seconds later he'd be sat on the passenger seat.
Around the time of my mums 50th, and her friend had come across got a bit tiddly.........she couldnt put one foot in front of other, she only lived 2 mins away, but I said Id drive her, so Kim come with me, in the bootm then back seat then he cottoned on to the fact that there was someone in his seat, the whole journey he had his front paws on her shoulder as if to say you've got my seat.......

The same day, as one of mums other friends had been drinking, but she decided to walk home, wanted to sober up, she got home then went to close the front room curtains, forgetting that she had them on a posh pully system, she janked the curtain and they both came off the rail, she was wrapped up in them on the floor for an hr until her husband came home.......when we see the typhoo advert that use to be on (the woman did the curtain trick) we just to laugh at it. xx
