internet explorer driving me mad

Hi, yesterday i downloaded windows updates (maybe unrelated) but since then when i click on a link it closes evry other explorer browser...
it's driving me crazy..i can't find any settings that have changed etc.
also, from a link in an email in hotmail it will open a new browser, but then any other link just closes all the others..
help!

Mmmm just try this for starters.
Tools, Internet Options, Programs, Reset Web Settings, remove tick from
reset homepage then Yes and OK. Close IE then Open IE0 -

Try a manual re-install of IE quite easy

maybe i should uninstall and reinstall?

You could try a system restore to the day before you made the changes. If it doesn't work you can always revert to previous settings.

lol..is there a way to upload my cookies/ cached etc to firefox as i have so many sites i never need to log into on i.e so don't remember passwords etc
