  • Oh forgot to say.. I was laughing about mini marshmallows. Has anyone seen the film surviving christmas with Ben Affleck in it? I don't like him but the film is really good :D Basically, he is a lonely millionaire who asks a family to 'adopt' him for one christmas in exchange for money. The lady pretending to be his mom (Catherine O'Hara, Kevins mom in Home Alone and ALSO Sally in The Nightmare Before Christmas) is making him a hot chocolate and he says "no sorry.. my mom used to put marshmallows on mine" so she goes and puts big ones on and he says "Sorry.. my mom used to use mini ones" by this point she has had enough so she flicks all the marshmallows out and starts hacking them up with a cleaver to make them mini..

    :D

Can I just say.. I started this thread doing "organizedchristmas" and you all joined in hope to be organised and enlightened (or something) and I feel like I have let you down!

My Organizedchristmas.com plan has turned into 'Mel's do whatever she wants to love life and love christmas WOOO Its christmas' Plan and you lot shouldn't have to suffer as a consequence. If anyone wants to be Uber organised and overthrow me as errr Mrs. Christmas... Feel free x

    Xmas Saver!
Dont know if its any help, but our Woolworths store had got an offer on, all the chocolates, sweets, buiscuits were included in the 3 for 2.
They have also got their presents on 3 4 2 as well.

    I brought a selection......
    Tin jelly babies - mum
    maripan fruits - mum
Greens organic box of 12 mini chocs - meant to be divided for xmas stockings but we had to sample them..........none left.
Got wack of £1.00 box of belgium chocolates and truffles.

My uncle is a chocoholic, so doing him a selection of chocolates and pitting a little note in, "open in emergency", that means there be gone with 10 minutes. If he opens a tin of Heros, or anything, he carries on eating until they have finished. When my Aunt gave up smoking (after 40 years), he promised to give up chocolate, and only have chocolate at xmas or birthdays. A typical chocolate evening for him would be 10 bars of chocolate, then rais the freezer and eat a couple of boxes chocalate lollies. He didnt expect her to suceed, but she did!.

For her jokey present, she drinks tea galore, so have got one of those teapots for 1 with the cup, aim to gift wrap that again add the emergency label!.

We did our annual late night shopping, poor dad had to go back to the car, and take the bags, did a £50 shop at Boots, extra £10, so raided the boots card. So we all have extra toilettries for xmas. That is my last xmas spend.
    xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Thanks BB (Who never replied to my last PM.. *ahem*)

This is ezzy baby taking a rest because she was "so very frightened" of the rides even though she loved them six months ago??
    Picture167.jpg

Ok.. Which one is loving it more? This rollercoaster.. I HATE it.. It's honestly really scary.. but Logan went on it 4 times today. Luckily Lee loves the coasters ;)
    Picture159.jpg

The Christmas show began.. and guess what.. My dad and Lee REALLY loved it? Do you think it was the magic of christmas.. the err.. baubles..
    Picture116.jpg

It snowed and the Fat controller sang. It was actually like.. foam.. but the kids were so happy. I have got some better pics but I best not post anymore LOL
    Picture100.jpg

I was so worried it would be packed out. I was so worried it would be icy cold like it was yesterday. It was warm.. it was empty. I feel so happy inside, like I gave my boy his dream and for once something turned out good for me.

    YAY!!

Thomas land looks brilliant mel - this is what it's all about - spending time with your loved ones and making memories.

Thanks mel for starting all this christmas madness - I still have a long way to go but I am so much more organised than I have ever been before - and I thank you for this - you're a great christmas leader and you always read and comment on what everyones up to and you make us laugh too. And to be honest put the organized stuff aside cos I just love to come on here and talk about christmas without being called a nutter. Wait til christmas I can't wait to hear everyones stories and revel in it all.

mum2one - I had to go to photobucket and register (free) then once you've added your photos to that it's very easy.
