I've deleted it. Don't want to cause heart attacks, could be culpable of manslaughter. In memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -

I rarely get unsolicited emails to my personal account yet over the last couple of days I've had several from Screwfix, Euroffice, Moben, Boots, Ryanair and now Amazon! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :mad:0 -
Did you perchance recently switch OFF a spam filter?
No, they're not exactly SPAM in the sense of the word as I'd previously had accounts on that email address with them. Just ironic that now I'm waiting for an important email I get inundated with emails from them, unless I'm just noticing them more than usual.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

I had to look twice before it registered that it said October and not November as the date was 17th“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

FSCS Chief Executive Loretta Minghella says: "Five weeks ago a lot of Icesave savers were worried that they were going to be left high and dry. Now they can be confident that the process is underway and people are getting their money back." 17th November 2008
Why do I still feel "high & dry".
Am I confident that the process includes me?
Why do I feel left out?
How can I be sure my ISP hasn't filtered out emails to me from the good people at FSCS?
mummy - help......

At last, in box financial news:
From savings@Ingdirect " Following the Bank of England base rate cut your Kaupthing Edge saving account rate has been reduced to 4.55%"
How come the rate has gone down by 2%, after BoE dropped the prime rate by 1.5%? How come we get notification today (Wednesday 18th), but it's effective November 7th - 11 days ago? How come as a 'new' ING Direct saver I can get 6% AER (for the first 12 months at least), while as an 'old' (I.e. Kaupthing Edge) account holder I can only get 4.55%?
I'm not impressed with ING Direct.0
