So is it
Disabled MoneySavers
or
Moneysavers with Disabilities...
What should it be called - any suggestions..Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

Thank you Martin, I love you
re the name............
Personally I'd rather been described as a Moneysaver first and foremost, than a disabled person first!
We need to make it clear that 'disabled' includes people with chronic health conditions, as lots of people still think that only people who have mobility problems are disabled, whereas the term is much wider nowadays.
Having said that, 'moneysavers with chronic and/or serious illnesses and/or disabilities' is a bit of a mouth full, isn't it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

I'm not fussed on what it's called, but disabled moneysaving is shorter and more to the point.
What I would suggest is that in the description it is noted that it's for moneysaving issues relating to chronic illness and disabilities. If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!0 -

How about
Dosh and Disability
or
Focus on Disability Moneysaving
after all it will also be useful for relatives & friends of people with disabilitiesThe object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane — Marcus Aurelius0 -

Hi everyone
I'm going to set this board up later this afternoon but I'm following this thread for your thoughts on the title.
Just to give my penny's worth, my first thought was to go for MoneySavers with Disabilities - as someone rightly said the disability bit shouldn't be first - but then something struck me (nope it didn't hurt!)...
Often when I'm looking for the Old Style board, even after several years of it being here, I still sometimes automatically scroll down the page looking for "Old Style" completely forgetting that the board's actually called "MoneySaving Old Style". Does that happen for anyone else?
Anyway, if we start the title with "MoneySavers.." rather than "Disability" then the people that really want to use the board may not find it so easily and of course we want to make it as easy for them to find as possible.
What do you all think?Could you do with a Money Makeover?
