Here's mine for the week
Saturday: Tandoori Turkey Kebabs with naan bread
Sunday: Sausage pot with garlic bread
Monday: Broccoli, tuna and pasta gratin
Tuesday: Sardine burgers
Wednesday: Quiche [whoopsied] and baked beans as it's Scouts
Thursday: Pasta Milanese using up frozen white wine and peppers
Friday: Company meal out for OH and me. Defrosted veggie spag bol portion wrapped in tortilla with grated cheese for the small person.

Hi all, don't the weeks just fly past - I forgot to post last week as I didn't see the thread on Thursday and then it disappeared from the first page so I didn't remember to post!!
So thought I would update you on my plans for next week:
Fri: we had beans on toast and scrambled egg!
Sat: Sausage plait - giant saus roll by any other name but kids think this is swish!
Sun: Roast pork - reduced joint from Mr T!
Mon: leftover pork - depends on weather - maybe cold with hot jackets?
Tues: Chicken nuggets - quick meal before Scouts
Wed: HM Pizza
Thurs:Chicken wraps with hm tortillas

Hi there - I have been in a great muddle, having been away and having had guests staying. Can't wait to get back to meal planning! Here is the current week based on what is in stock and in the garden. DH has just announced he wants to lose weight, so I will start looking into ultra light recipes for the week to follow....... :-)
fri - Turkish lentil soup, spring rolls, salad.
sat - roast poussins, stuffed courgette (sage, pine nuts, cheese)
sun - tartiflette with brie, salad
mon - biz trip. if back on time, pasta with courgette sauce
tues - HM pizza, salad
wed - american style cottage pie, green beans
thur - summer goulash, sauteed courgettes

Monday - leftover ham with caulifllower cheese

I haven't been meal planning for a while, and recently, due to illness, have really relied on whatever's going, but have come back this week, so here is our menu for the next seven days, starting with today's.
Saturday: HM Chicken tikka, HM spicy wedges, garlic bread [sausage, baked beans - DD1]
Sunday: Roast chicken, roasties, carrots, sweetcorn [chicken, rice - DD1]
Monday: HM Pepperoni pizza, baked beans [fish, salad - me]
Tuesday: Beef casserole, mash potato, carrots.
Wednesday: HM Spaghetti Bolognese.
Thursday: HM Turkey pasta bake.
Friday: Salmon fishcakes, French fries [burgers, baked beans - DD1]

Here is my recipe for HM cornish pasties.......sorry its taken a day or two:rolleyes:
Pastry
8oz Plain flour
2oz lard
2oz butter
Filling
12oz chuck steak
1 chopped onion
2 diced potatoes
7oz turnip diced
1 large carrot diced
s and p
1 beaten egg
set oven to 200c. Cover a baking sheet with greaseproof.
Rub fat into flour until like breadcrumbs and add cold water until a firm dough is formed. Wrap in cling film and put in fridge to rest for half an hour.
Roll out pastry and cut into 4 circles the size of tea plates. You may need to do this in two stages.
mix the other ingredients together and season.
put a pile of mixture into the middle of each circle. brush beaten egg around the edge of the pastry and pull edges together and crimp.
cook on the baking sheet for 20 mins then turn oven down to 150c and cook for further 45 mins.0 -

Tinned soup (clam chowder) and 3 slices of toast followed by the last bit of cake I have in the house.

Roasted peppers and butternut squash and potatoes salad with goats cheese . (didn't have this as had last minute invite to bbq)
Sunday
Scrambled egg
Black beans and rice with veg.(will have yesterdays meal instead)
Monday
Smoothie
Tuna fishcakes with salad and seeds

Lentil bolognese
Wednesday
Porridge
Fish cooked with chinese spices with rice and veg
