No, you need to know that workbooth will work properly for you, if you do not and something goes wrong you will have problems.
do you mean, running the cd and then loggin in with your hirepoint id and test
which then verifies you have a connection to the server , which in turn gives you a success message
i have done this, but on the booklet it says you need to complete a session with the IT department , goto workbooth.info and book a time etc, but there is no session times0 -

No, you dont need to book a session. I had the same problem when I first ran my workbooth CD but my recruiter contacted me and told me to ignore that as they don't do it anymore.0 -
regarding payroll
it says in the handbook that you need to send a p45 or p46 to them
i myself would need to complete a p46, but it says i need to contact payroll, how do i contact them
anyone else been in a similar position?
thanks0 -
You need to send p46 to belfast office. The trainer will tell you.
Can I please ask if they say in the new handbook if sick money paid? I have worked for them now 9 months and still no sick money paid to me or any of my team members. They tell me problems with payroll putting on sick pay - but the payslip shows a 'sick pay' section???!
So now, lots of people who have been on sick for one or 2 days have not been paid any sick pay and no-one will help. They say tell your team leader, but the team leader just saying 'problems with pay office'. It is not right. My handbook says they will pay me sick pay, but no-one has gotten any at all.
I have rung belfast, they say ask team leader - round I go again. It is not legal to do this?
Unhappy, but lots of debt so I say nothing. Lots of people just leave suddenly and team leaders never say what has happened. I worry that they have complained to government about no sick pay and have been sacked, so, everyone says nothing.
So I ask you if your handbook says about sick days being paid? Yes, if you are sick a week you get sick pay from government, but tletech did say in my book that they paid sick days but we get nothing.
Please excuse me as I do not post under my real name because I fear someone will tell on me to my team leader.
Thank you.0 -

Hi there
The handbook doesn't say much about sick pay to be honest.
All it does say is: "After your first 6 months of service you are eligable for paid leave if you are unfortunate enough to be ill, further details can be obtained from your Line Manager."
Do you should be getting sick pay as you have been there 9 months.0 -
i have sent a p46 with my contract, see what happens0

you wont get paid for the first 3 days of sickness. it should be in your contract. if its for longer than 3 days you need to get a sick note. on receipt of the sicknote, payroll will pay you sick pay.0 -
Can someobdy explain to me how holiday work please? I started working for Teletech on 26th May this year. I tried to book Sat 2nd Aug off last week, and got an e-mail back saying it had been declined as I dont have enough holiday hours accrued yet. But surely I will have by then??
How many hours worked accrues a day off (I work 21 hours a week) and is this the same every year? So I'll never be able to book days off in January (as the leave is from Jan-Dec each year) as I wont have accrued the hours to take a few days off in early Jan?
Sorry, I hope that makes sense.0 -
