It's not me going to the cricket Erlqueen, think it's Vix? Hard to keep track of who's doing what isn't it? :rotfl:
Mzdotokay here's a link where you can compare calories burned for lots of different activities - there are all sorts on here! Linky
I would say there isn't one overall "best" exercise, but if you can manage to do a variety of things you'll be working different areas of the body
Haircut tomorrow! That should shed a few... er.... grams....0 -
Lovin' your golf pic Ajax, where was that taken? (Don't say on the golf course).
..........but it was........
It was taken on the Algarve missy.... Salgados Golf Club. It was a last minute decision, hence trainers and shorts - good job they are not fussy about that sort of thing there.
Tagz, 2lb is a great loss. What on earth makes you think it isn't?
Now then.... pinklipgloss .... :j:j:j:j:j
Vix, if you catch the ball in the crowd during a Twenty20 you get a prizeI do have one question for Ajax - how did you manage to miss the ball? It's big enough to see... >< :rotfl:
.........now that gave I a right laff!!!0 -
lol missyg - you caught me before I edited the post.
With regard to exercise I was wondering how I was going to afford £250 for a Wii fit plus sneak it into the house past hubby. Just found out it's only £70.00 so I'll have already made a saving of £180 when I buy it in a couple of weeks  !!0 -

lol that's one way of looking at it. The £250 was mentioned because someone said they hadn't already got a Wii so they'd have needed a Wii and a Wii Fit.Tagz, I did follow through, look at the shape of those shorts

Glad to hear it Tagz!
Out of curiosity what were you hoping for?!
Erlqueen, yep the £250 would be the price tag for wii console + wii fit, not the wii fit alone. Wii fit is good but I don't think it would be worth £250!
Hope you have a better day tomorrow Lemon Drop0 -
Lemon Drop, hope you feel a bit more positive tomorrow, why not make something with your son for Fathers Day then you don't have to worry about getting out to get something and can rest your leg instead?0

Your opinions please.......
I've had an idea - don't shoot me down if you hate it - it's just a suggestion!
I was thinking about how difficult it can be to keep track of everyone(especially since the group has become so large!)
.....so as a welcome guide to new members (and as a reminder to us regulars!) it might be nice to have a little members homepage for LW21 - it could have a list of members with a profile detailing eating plans, if any (e.g. weight watchers/Aitkens), target weight (optional of course), plus other info ppl want to share (e.g. training for race for life etc). Plus - if you guys wanted to - it could have a little profile pic!
What do you think?
I like that idea! I vote for it.
Oh, and aparently I have got my height wrong, I'm 5'8 not 5'4, so according to the BMI I am on the edge of overweight/obese, rather than when I get to 12 stone!! :rotfl:so good news
Thou I don't know how it effects my fat %? I have another review at the end of this month, so will see then.
