Hi
Just wanted some advice really - I am looking to buy a good quality all seasons duvet and I have found 'duvet and pillow warehouse'
Just wondering if anyone has ever ordered from them of there are any discount codes for it.
The item I am thinking of buying is:
http://www.duvetandpillowwarehouse.co.uk/product/1/1/539/Duvets/Luxury%20Hungarian
I would want the double all seasons one which is £153
Do you think this is a good buy?
Any advice will be really appreciated as I need to buy a new duvet as soon as possible.
Many thanks
Dave

I have ordered from them before = the all seasons microfibre quilt. And I used their price promise (under useful info on left hand side). I was looking at goose down too, but went into a shop and felt a microfibre one which was lovely and soft. We are very happy with ours. I did have to chase for the quilt case that was promised with it, although I don't actually see that on the site now. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Hi
I think it's a great deal. I have an allseasons Superking Down duvet, but I'm not sure if it's Hungarian or not - that's meant to be the best isn't it? However, I seem to remember mine should have been around £200 5 years ago and that was in the sale (I got someone's staff discount on it though)
Great site - I shall bookmark it as I need some new bedding soon.0 -
Thanks for all your help - I am going to order it! Quite excited now.0

A bit off thread topic, but my mum suffers from a bad back and spondylitis and i'd like to buy her a really nice comfy pillow online. Any recommendations?0

I put in an order for duvet, 4 pillows and topper. Spent alot of money. Seems they sent it to a complete different customer.... I am on the phone to them to demand that they send new ones immediately. An here's what I hate about companies like these. You are not allowed to be put through to a manager. They are also "dealing with it". I said I wanted the order by tomorrow or else I will be cancelling and so they need to give me a yes or no answer... but the 1st lady I spoke to this morning was on a break.
By the the emails I sent were ignored.
What their reply should've been is "we are so sorry. We will send a new order this morning for next day delivery. And here is something else to compensate for our stupidity!" but alas we live in a country with probably the worst (and most expensive) service in the west!
I'm sure the product is good, but what a !!!!!! company service!!!0 -
To add... apparently the operators and their supervisor CANT speak directly to the managers!!!! Only internal mail!
So when they screw up an order (which happens a lot it seems) they will not recitify the order til "management" have a look!!!!!!!!!!! RIDICULOUS!
The onbe thing she can guarantee though is that I will NOT get the order by tomorrow! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!0 -
Hi Mike, could you provide an update on your order? And I'd also want to hear other people's recent experience with them. I would like to buy some things from them, it's not absolutely urgent, but I could do without a stressful experience too.0

DAPW prices do look very good but I sent them an email late August asking which country their Hungarian Down duvets are made (I don't want Chinese and I know JLP are made in UK).
8 weeks later, no reply. I have just tried again , emailing via their website. If I don't hear from them by Monday, forget it.0 -
I paid loads for one of their hungarian duvets. They sent it by Parcel Force, but I STILL haven't got my order delivered. Even though ALL Parcel Force deliveries have a tracking number (to track the order!), they have lost the tracking number given to them, so they have no idea where the order is, except that "it was dispatched on ...".
They IGNORE emails, and all I get when phoning them is sympathy, and that they are "looking into it" but nothing else. Over 200 quid up the chimney!
I'm fighting these people tooth and nail to get what I paid for or a refund. So beware, for peace of mind, go shop somewhere else.
Maybe their products are good, but their service is DISMAL.0 -
I ordered three items from them, one has arrived (goose-down all seasons duvet) and the other two are out of stock and will be delivered when stock arrives. What is really worrying me is that I can't seem to get to their site at all lately, is it just me or is anyone else having problems? I did e-mail them asking for an estimate on when I would get my other items but I have not had a reply. I won't know until I get my credit card statement whether they have taken full payment, they said they wouldn't take payment until the items were all dispatched.0
