duvet and pillow warehouse - any good?

I'm about to cancel my order - from prev it seems they work fine IF they have the stock to send, but if not, they simply mess up because they

a) can't communicate (I've tried to call six times and have sent various emails with no joy)

b) don't advise their customers what is happening.

I paid with paypal and have now put my undelivered purchase into dispute with them.

It's worth noting that if you pay by paypal or credit card then under the distance selling regulations, the vendor has to prove that goods have been delivered, not the other way round. So if their courier is useless, your credit card company or paypal should deal with it for you.

by contacting paypal, I got DAPW to return my calls and cancel the order.

BUT, having released the funds from Paypal, they then sent the goods by courier today (which I refused).

Not entirely sure how appalling their services are but I will be taking them to court if they try to charge me again!

I'd strongly recommend you don't buy goods from them without some kind of payment protection (e.g. paypal or credit card) because it seems when they have items in stock all goes well, but if they don't they simply can't handle it
