duvet and pillow warehouse - any good?

I ordered three items from them, one has arrived (goose-down all seasons duvet) and the other two are out of stock and will be delivered when stock arrives. What is really worrying me is that I can't seem to get to their site at all lately, is it just me or is anyone else having problems? I did e-mail them asking for an estimate on when I would get my other items but I have not had a reply. I won't know until I get my credit card statement whether they have taken full payment, they said they wouldn't take payment until the items were all dispatched.
I was going to buy but half the buttons on the website don't work (including submit query) so I can't actually get past putting items in the basket.
Given what people have said above, maybe I won't bother.0 -
I bought my duvet from them a few months ago, it's the softest I have ever had and it arrived promptly. Was I lucky?0

I would not recommend them
I'm having problems with them too. I placed quite a large order with them a few months ago. received items promptly. The items i kept were great, but 4 items were subquality and not what i had ordered.
So....phoned them up and told to keep hold of the items and the would look into it and call me back. One week later - still nothing. So, i phoned up again to be told someone would be in touch. still nothing. Fed up by now, I decided to return the items. 2 weeks after this - still no refund. I then e-mailed to confirm my items were received. They confirmed that they had (Note - still no apology at any point) and they would arrange a refund to my credit card. 2 weeks after that e-mail - no refund received. I followed this lack of refund up with yet another e-mail - quite abrupt this time - asking them for a)a refund and b) the name of someone to formally complain to. They responded with 'we can confirm your refund was made on x/x/xxxx' and no name of who to send a complaint to!' (and no apology)
I now have my credit card disputes team chasing the refund for me. lets hope it works.0 -
This company are not the best.
I ordered a double duvet, which I was really pleased with, a couple of months ago.
I then ordered a single duvet for the spare room, and am still waiting for it to be delivered nearly six weeks later!!!
There is no communication from them, unless you complain.
When I first complained, I was emailed and told that they were waiting for stock to arrive, which would be delivered on the 23rd March.
That date came and went and I complained again, only to be told that the duvet would be delivered on the 31st March!!
I've complained yet again, and have now been told that my duvet will be delivered on the 6th April!!
I'm not holding my breath.
Order from them......only if you don't need something in a hurry.
My opinion is...that their stock is arriving....on a VERY slow boat from China!!!When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!0 -
I have ordered from this company many times. The products are excellent but customer service is apauling. It took me over two months to chase a refund due because item was not recieved. It was difficult enough to get them to acknowledge that I hadnt recieved it let alone an additional few weeks to get the refund. This is not the first time either. I have now decided to pay extra with the White Company - but at least I know I will recieve it in good time and the quality is excellent. Such a shame as DAPW sell quality products at good prices but it is a bit of a gamble as to whether you will recieve it.0

I've ordered from them on about 6 different occasions, I just love their duvets - think I have the 4 seasons white duck down on my bed and it is wonderful. The duck down pillows are brilliant too.
The only time I had a problem was when I ordered a gift which was delivered direct to the recipient. No problem with the actual delivery but I had ordered a double microfibre duvet which came with a pair of pillows. Only one pillow was received so I emailed them, they answered promptly and sent another pair of pillows at once.0 -

i have just bought from them and no problems at all delivery took 4 days, i think it should be a bit quicker eg. next working day.
yeah i would buy from them again.0 -

I know it is a long time since the last posting .. but I bought some items from DAPW a few weeks ago .. the items arrived very quickly and I was very pleased with my purchases, so I ordered more items .. stupidly though I ordered one thing in a wrong size .. not a problem at all for DAPW .. my return parcel was picked up next day by courier .. and within a couple of days the full refund was in my account .. now I have just ordered the right size .. and hope I will be as happy with this order as my previous orders :T0
