The CCJ Myth and threats EXPOSED

There is currently an increase of threatening letters
from dodgy legals and idiotic debt collectors

These rogue traders know that most people actually
do not understand about a CCJ.

They use this to intimidate, scare you and it is their
very unethical method to get you to pay ... often sums
that are highly inflated to which a court would not allow.

These are modern day Kray Twins or Peter Rackman
(google these two names)

If you receive an intimidating letter giving you the
false impression that if you don't pay them then ....
Your credit rating will be affected, you may get a CCJ,
You may not be able to get a loan, credit card or mortgage
STOP ... THINK ... YOU ARE PROBABLY BEING SCAMMED

These letters omit one important point .....
For anything bad to happen to you, a case must be
presented in front of a judge in county court.
It is the judge who decides if you win or lose and it's
not up to rogue traders to make that decision

HOW YOU CAN GET A CCJ (County Court Judgement)

1: They must firstly take you to court
2: You have the opportunity to defend
3: A judge will rule who is the winner
4: If you lose (doubtful), the judge will make
an order for you to pay (normally with 28 days)
5: If you ignore the court and do not pay, then
you will get a CCJ
6: However if you do pay as the court orders,
that is it ...... NO CCJ .. NO ENTRIES ON YOUR
CREDIT FILE

DANGER POINT .... If you ignore official claims from
Northampton ... A county court claim, DO NOT IGNORE
If you do ignore you WILL end up with CCJ by default.
That means the claimant wins and of course any old fool
and his dog can do that if the defendant is a NO SHOW

If you get such rubbish letters from rogue traders then
please copy them to Sir Greg Knight.
Sir Greg Knight who has introduced a new members
bill in the house which should become law later this year

Sir Greg and other MP's are fully aware of the scam and
want to end it. The more Sir Greg knows about this scam,
the sooner this scam will be scuppered

https://www.parliament.uk/biographies/commons/sir-greg-knight/1200

Also make sure you also copy in your local MP

DO NOT GET INTIMIDATED BY LETTERS CLAIMING
SOMETHING THAT ONLY A JUDGE CAN DECIDE ON

NEVER EVER TALK, PHONE, WRITE TO DEBT COLLECTORS
WHO WILL LIE TO YOU ....
POWERLESS IDIOTS

=======================================
Going to county court is a two way thing and everything rides
on the judge. Most judges are aware of the parking scam
The upside is that if you win, and you should with help from
this forum, you can claim costs against the PPC and if the judge
awards you costs and the PPC does not pay ......
YOU SEND IN THE COURT BAILIFFS ?

Probably worth adding that if you move make sure you update your details at DVLA so that in the unlikely event these slimy little scammers do try court for real you'll get the papers and can defend.

That's not going to be effective.

The PPCs are only allowed to request keeper data from the DVLA once per parking incident. They cannot go back and retrieve any updated keeper info when considering court action.

Both for the car and your license, They are separate, you must do both.

Hello HB, very long time no see. Welcome back. It would be great to have your input to the forum again.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hi Umkomaas, thank you. Yep, been helping getting people's tickets cancelled but thought it best to do it in the background after some pretty nasty messages and emails from some of our 'friends' in the PPC world. Back now though
