I wish someone would threaten me, I would sue their @rse off.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Probably worth adding that if you move make sure you update your details at DVLA so that in the unlikely event these slimy little scammers do try court for real you'll get the papers and can defend.

This is a big issue - and from speaking to the PPCs in my line of work, they are much more likely to start court proceedings if the ticket is ignored.
If it is being ignored due to incorrect address details, then a default judgement is highly likely.

And back in 2017 the government announced a crackdown
on these CCJ's .... anyone here heard anything further ????

Major crackdown on abuse of 'debt' judgement by rogue parking and utility firms is announced

It's a Northampton county court letter , I failed to reply to it even though I had evidence to prove I wasn't parked up , the last letter I got from them was a fine £100 court costs and £97 to parking eye or appeal is £255

I think you meant to post this on your thread not randomly tack it on here.

Don't park as you're not supposed to and comply with the terms of the parking you use and you won't ever get any of these letters in the first place. I've managed 30 years of motoring all over the UK without getting a parking ticket. One wonders how thick you must have to be to get one.
